Hi! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Massachusetts. I received my CAGS from Cambridge College and my Master Degree from AMC. I have been practicing for 25 years. I help children, adolescents, young adults and families struggling with eating disorders, grief, adoption trauma and parenting difficulties to become the best versions of themselves and keep working to have their life improve. I also work with one time consults. We all need a safe place to vent, a sounding board or someone to answer some questions. Whether you are looking for ongoing therapy or a one time consult, you are always in the driver´s seat.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing, we will discuss what your goals for therapy are, I will explain some of the boring “housekeeping” policies and then we will come up with potential treatment goals. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions
Having worked with young people and families for the past 25 years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges but most importantly how to create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
I love working with people who are experiencing changes. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their lives. It is a privilege to allow me to help walk this process with them. Therapy is about the client and the therapeutic space is about the client. Some of my clients need a venting space, a lively back and forth or to work on skills.

I have been seeing Celia for over a year now, and I always feel uplifted and empowered after speaking with her, even when I am going through personal hardship. She is positive a genuine way, but I still feel as though there is space for ALL of my emotions in our sessions. I feel extremely comfortable with Celia and safe to say anything knowing she will not judge me. I have spoken to various counselors as Both a Child and adult and truly feel like Celia has been the BEST!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Celia. She doesn't just let me talk as she has lots of feedback. She seems to really put an interest in whatever we may talk about. She is positive and uplifting as well.

Celia is hands down the best therapist I have ever talked to in my life. I have had a few other great therapists but Celia is not only very welcoming and warm, but she makes connections and really digs deeper into things. She’s a very attentive listener, and will reflect back after listening to reveal hidden themes I didn’t even notice. As someone who tends to intellectualize my emotions, she has been extremely helpful in clarifying things

FBT is currently the most promising treatment for children and adolescents with anorexia nervosa, and may also be suitable for some young people with bulimia nervosa.
