New to Grow
I strive to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood, so you can begin to feel relief knowing your healing journey is underway. I want you to feel proud of yourself for taking the step to prioritize your mental health; it truly matters. My style is warm, patient, encouraging, and direct in a way that supports growth without feeling harsh or overwhelming. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida with a Master of Social Work (MSW), and I work with teens, young adults, couples, families, and individuals across the lifespan. My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and evidence-based strategies for anxiety and emotional well-being. In our work together, I focus on helping you better understand yourself, process what you’re going or have gone through, and build practical tools to manage anxiety, trauma, depression, and life’s daily challenges. I believe in supporting healing from a trauma-informed lens while also empowering you to recognize your own strengths and growth along the way. If you’re feeling nervous about starting therapy, I often remind clients: Life will always bring challenges, and we all need support in navigating them. Seeking help is not something to be ashamed or afraid of; it’s a meaningful sign of strength and growth. Plus, there is a world of possibilities on the other side of your fear. Outside of sessions, you’ll usually find me laughing or trying new foods; ideally both at the same time, but I’m not picky.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and beginning to build a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. I want you to feel safe, heard, and at ease as we talk about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. This time is also for you to get a sense of my style as a therapist and ask any questions you may have. Together, we’ll start building the foundation for a supportive and collaborative journey.
My greatest strengths as a therapist include my ability to see situations from my clients’ point of view and create a deeply empathic, nonjudgmental space. I work with teens, young adults, couples, families, and individuals from all walks of like, which allows me to bring a broad, flexible perspective to each client’s unique experience. My approach is integrative, with a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered care. I consistently acknowledge and honor each client’s growth along the way, helping to nurture their progress and encourage continued perseverance. My goal is for clients to leave therapy with improved mental health, greater self and situational awareness, and practical tools to navigate life’s daily stressors and demands.
I am best positioned to serve teens, young adults, couples, families, and individuals navigating anxiety, emotional distress, and relationship challenges. This includes teens struggling with stress, self-esteem, or school-related pressure; young adults facing life transitions, anxiety, or identity concerns; couples working through conflict, emotional disconnection, or trust issues; and families experiencing communication breakdowns or ongoing tension. I also support individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained but are ready to gain insight, build coping skills, and improve their overall mental health and relationships in a supportive, structured space.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
As a therapist, I utilized CBT techniques in individual sessions to help clients identify and challenge maladaptive thoughts and behaviors.
Trauma Informed Care
My approach is trauma-informed, focusing on creating emotional safety, building trust, and helping you move at a pace that feels comfortable while processing difficult experiences.
Group Therapy
I often facilitate group therapy, helping clients feel less alone while supporting them through shared experiences. These sessions create a safe space to build connection, gain insight from others, and strengthen coping skills in a supportive, guided environment.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
We will approach therapy in a person-centered way, meaning your experiences, priorities, and pace guide the process.
Couples Counseling
I work with couples navigating conflict, emotional disconnection, and trust issues, helping them better understand one another and rebuild their connection. In session, we actively explore patterns, strengthen communication, and develop healthier ways of working through challenges together.
