I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals and families find healing, clarity, and emotional balance. My ideal clients are those who feel overwhelmed by stress, trauma, relationship challenges, or difficult life transitions and are seeking a safe space to understand their experiences and move forward. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, trauma symptoms, communication issues, or patterns that keep them feeling stuck. Their goals often include gaining emotional stability, improving relationships, strengthening coping skills, and building a more meaningful and balanced life. I offer a compassionate, culturally attuned, and supportive environment where you can feel genuinely heard and understood. Using a trauma-informed and client-centered approach, I help you explore your needs, recognize unhelpful patterns, and develop practical tools to support growth and healing. Together, we work toward helping you feel more grounded, confident, and empowered in your daily life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. I will ask questions about your current concerns, relevant history, and what you hope to gain from the therapy process. This helps us begin to identify your goals and what support will be most helpful for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist include creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. I focus on building strong therapeutic relationships that support trust, openness, and meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals, couples, and families who are seeking meaningful change and are open to exploring their thoughts, emotions, and relationship patterns. I work well with clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relational challenges, especially those who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. I am best positioned to support clients who are motivated for growth, even if they feel uncertain about where to start. Many of my clients are looking to better understand themselves, improve communication, build emotional regulation skills, and develop healthier, more secure relationships. I also work well with clients who value a compassionate, collaborative approach and are open to integrating different therapeutic methods, including attachment-based work, CBT, solution-focused strategies, and faith-based perspectives when desired. For clients who wish to incorporate their spirituality, I support them in drawing on their beliefs as a source of strength, meaning, and guidance in the healing process. Whether clients are seeking short-term support or deeper healing, I aim to provide a safe and supportive space for lasting change.

My treatment methods

Couples Counseling

As an LMFT I provide couples counseling to help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their emotional connection. My experience includes working with couples facing conflict, life transitions, and challenges related to trust, intimacy, and attachment. In practice, I help couples identify negative interaction patterns and develop healthier ways of expressing needs and emotions. I use structured interventions to promote understanding, accountability, and empathy, while creating a safe space for both partners to feel heard. This approach supports couples in building stronger, more secure, and fulfilling relationships.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My experience with CBT includes working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and stress-related challenges. In practice, I support clients in identifying negative thought patterns and replacing them with more balanced, realistic thinking. I incorporate practical tools such as cognitive restructuring, coping skills, and behavioral strategies to improve emotional regulation and daily functioning. CBT allows clients to build insight, develop healthier responses, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Narrative

I use Narrative Therapy to help clients explore the stories they hold about themselves and their lives. My experience with this approach includes working with individuals facing trauma, anxiety, and identity-related challenges. In practice, I support clients in separating themselves from their problems and examining how their experiences have shaped their personal narratives. Together, we identify strengths, values, and alternative perspectives that allow for more empowering and meaningful stories. This approach helps clients build a stronger sense of identity, increase resilience, and create positive change in their lives.

Faith based therapy

I offer faith-based therapy for clients who wish to incorporate their spiritual beliefs into the healing process. My experience includes supporting individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, and life challenges while drawing on their faith as a source of strength and meaning. In practice, I integrate clients’ values, beliefs, and spiritual perspectives into therapy in a respectful and client-centered way. This may include exploring faith-based coping strategies, fostering hope and forgiveness, and aligning therapeutic goals with the client’s spiritual framework. This approach helps clients find deeper purpose, resilience, and emotional healing.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify strengths and create practical, goal-oriented changes in a short period of time. My experience with this approach includes working with individuals facing anxiety, stress, and life transitions. In practice, I focus on what is working rather than what is not, helping clients clarify their goals and build on existing resources. I use techniques such as scaling questions, identifying exceptions, and envisioning preferred outcomes. This approach empowers clients to make meaningful progress, increase confidence, and achieve solutions that align with their strengths.
