I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families across diverse settings. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and am fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing me to provide culturally responsive care to a broad range of clients. My clinical expertise lies in working with individuals on the autism spectrum, as well as those experiencing anxiety and behavioral challenges. I specialize in evidence-based interventions that promote meaningful, lasting change, with a strong emphasis on individualized, compassionate care. I integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities into my practice, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in the belief that every individual has the capacity for growth and resilience.
In our sessions, clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard, respected, and empowered. I strive to create a space that is both structured and flexible—where we can explore challenges at a comfortable pace while working toward meaningful, achievable goals. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based. Together, we’ll identify what matters most to you and develop practical strategies to help you move toward those values. Whether we’re addressing anxiety, navigating behavioral challenges, or building emotional regulation skills, each session is tailored to your unique needs and goals.
Clients often take away: • Increased self-awareness and insight into patterns of behavior and thought • Practical coping strategies for managing anxiety, stress, and emotional dysregulation • Improved communication and relationship skills • Greater confidence in navigating daily challenges • Tools for long-term growth, including mindfulness, emotional flexibility, and behavior change techniques I integrate evidence-based practices such as ACT, CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed ABA to ensure that our work is grounded in research and aligned with your personal values and goals.
I work with adolescents and adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from the life they want to live. many of my clients struggle with anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, low self-worth, or difficult emotions that seem to keep them from moving forward. Together, we explore how thoughts, emotions, and past experiences may be influencing the present, while developing practical skills to respond with greater flexibility, self-compassion, and intention. Rather than trying to eliminate difficult emotions, we'll work on creating space for them so they no longer have to dictate your choices.
I identify as
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based approach that helps people develop psychological flexibility. Therapy isn't about getting rid of uncomfortable thoughts or feelings, it's about learning how to respond to them in ways that support the life you want to live.
