I am an ordained Minister with a heart to ensure I bring the unadulterated word of God to assist in healing in areas of mind, body, and Spirit. I have experienced working with children suffering from physical and sexual abuse. I am trained in trauma-focused, along with many other evidence-based psychological treatments. I have been working with hurting women, men, and children for over 20 Years. I recognized my calling while volunteering at a shelter as an advocate. My passion is to guide women, men, and children who are hurting from abuse to empower them to realize they are no longer victims but overcomers. It's time to assist in restoring the order of the family as intended from the beginning.
Your first session is a welcoming and safe space where we begin building a foundation of trust, respect, and openness. As a Christian psychotherapist, I approach our time together with clinical care, spiritual sensitivity, and prayerful discernment—always at your comfort level. Here’s what you can expect: We’ll begin by getting to know one another. I’ll share a bit about my background, therapeutic approach, and how faith can be integrated into the counseling process if you choose. You’ll have the opportunity to share what brings you to therapy. There’s no pressure to tell your whole story at once—this is your space, and we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we’ll begin identifying what you hope to gain from therapy—whether it’s healing from past trauma, improving relationships, overcoming anxiety, or growing spiritually and emotionally. If you're open to it, we can talk about how your faith plays a role in your life and how it might be a source of strength and guidance throughout your healing journey. You’re encouraged to ask questions about the therapy process, my approach, or anything you’re unsure about. This is a partnership, and your voice matters. By the end of the session, we’ll decide together on the next steps. Whether you choose to continue working with me or not, my goal is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and hopeful.
My Greatest Strengths as a Christian Psychotherapist: What clients often say stands out about working with me is the way I combine clinical skill with spiritual insight. I bring both heart and expertise to the work of healing and growth. Here are the strengths that shape my approach: Faith-Integrated Counseling I offer a space where psychological care and biblical truth meet. I help clients explore how Scripture, prayer, and spiritual practices can support emotional healing—always respecting your level of comfort and spiritual background. Compassionate, Nonjudgmental Presence I provide a safe, accepting space where you can be real about your struggles without fear of shame. Whether you’re battling anxiety, depression, trauma, or spiritual doubt, you’ll be met with empathy and grace. Holistic Focus I look at the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. My work goes beyond symptom management to help you pursue lasting transformation, healthier relationships, and a deeper sense of purpose. Trauma-Informed & Evidence-Based Methods I draw from proven methods like CBT, EMDR, narrative therapy, and attachment theory, while weaving in spiritual practices that align with Christian faith. My approach is tailored, not one-size-fits-all. Rooted in Truth, Guided by Grace I gently help clients confront hard things—patterns, lies, wounds, or areas of spiritual confusion—while offering hope and reminding them of their identity in Christ.
As a compassionate psychotherapist, I provide comprehensive care for individuals across the lifespan, from children and adolescents to adults and seniors. I believe in meeting clients where they are, utilizing a tailored, developmentally appropriate approach that blends evidence-based techniques—such as CBT, trauma-focused, thera play, internal family systems, marriage and family, and mindfulness—to navigate unique life stages. Whether addressing school-related anxiety, complex life transitions, or geriatric mental health, I create a supportive environment to foster growth and healing for every family member."
