I am a LCSW. I received my Master's Degree from Florida International University. I have been working for 35 years. I work with clients who are dealing with trauma, domestic violence, all forms of sexual abuse and sexual assault. In addition, I help people in life transitions, who find their lives are not working the way they would like for them to and I help clients who are working to improve self-esteem.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will review clients' history and find out what they want to get out of therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I left an abusive home at the age of 15 and lived on my own after that. I understand what it is like to have a difficult life and a troublesome childhood. I am also a sexual abuse survivor, which provides me special insight to others who experience similar situations.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work best with clients who want to make their lives better by making better choices. Clients who want to improve their self-esteem and transition into better places in their lives by shedding old habits and patterns.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Clients learn to control their thinking and their way of reacting to what happens to them in the world. This controls how they experience the situations in their life.
