You look like you're holding it all together—but inside, you're exhausted. A comment, a change in tone, or a moment of silence can send your mind racing. You replay conversations, overanalyze everything, and hold everyone else together while quietly losing yourself.
Hi, I'm Eva Chocron, LMFT. I specialize in helping anxious, high-functioning individuals who seem confident on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, and stuck in painful relationship patterns on the inside. Maybe you've been told you're "too sensitive"—or you've just gotten very good at hiding it.
I work with relationship anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, low self-esteem, and unhealthy relationship patterns. Together, we'll help you stop second-guessing yourself, calm your nervous system, build boundaries without guilt, and strengthen emotional resilience.
You don't want perfection anymore. You want peace. You want to trust yourself again. You want relationships where you can express your needs without feeling guilty, "too much," or afraid you'll push people away. You want to feel safe—not only in your relationships, but within yourself.
I also work with couples navigating communication problems, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, trust after betrayal, and rebuilding intimacy—helping both partners feel heard, understood, and valued.
I provide online therapy for anxiety, relationship issues, and couples across Florida and Virginia, in English and Spanish.

Hi, I'm Sarah, I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience helping adults navigate life's challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. I'm here to provide a supportive, collaborative space where you can feel heard, gain insight, and develop practical tools to help you move forward. I believe therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds through a wide range of life challenges—including depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, parenting issues, and career transitions. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey toward healing, self-awareness, and becoming the best version of yourself.
Life can be difficult to navigate, but I deeply believe that we all have the inherent strength and resilience to grow and change. My role is to walk alongside you, meeting you where you are and helping you find clarity, confidence, and new ways forward.
Hello, I’m Carmen Bales, LCSW. I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a background in hospice and medical social work, where I’ve spent many years supporting people through grief, chronic stress, life transitions, and uncertainty.
In therapy, I offer a calm, supportive space for adults who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally stuck—even when they appear “high-functioning” on the outside. My approach is integrative and person-centered, drawing from talk therapy, expressive arts, and body-based (somatic) awareness to help clients reconnect with themselves and make sense of what they are carrying.
You do not need to be “creative” to work with me. Expressive and reflective tools are used gently and always at your comfort level. I believe healing begins with being seen, understood, and supported—rather than being rushed to fix or change yourself. If you choose to have sessions with me, you will be truly seen.
Hi, my name is Jennifer Bargerhuff and I was a small business owner of over 20 years who returned to college to continue in the path of helping others through Mental Health Counseling. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Counseling from Trinity College of Florida and my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and am currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselorin the State of Florida.
Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy, based in South Florida. I believe the families and communities we grow up in shape nearly everything about who we become — how we love, how we trust, how we cope, and how we show up for the people who matter most to us.
I have a deep appreciation for the richness and complexity that culture, identity, and lived experience bring into the therapy room. I welcome clients from all backgrounds, and I have a particular heart for first-generation individuals and families who are often holding the weight of two worlds — honoring where they came from while finding their footing in where they are.
My specialty is working with individuals, couples, and families navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, and the lasting effects of early experiences. Whether you are carrying something you have never said out loud, working through a relationship that feels stuck, or simply sensing that something needs to shift — you have found a space where you are welcome exactly as you are.
Hi, my name is Luz, my pronouns are she/her/hers, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I worked as a teacher for over 15 years before making the journey into a community mental health career. I have experience in mobile crisis response, trauma, forensic mental health concerns.
To explain who I am as a therapist, I reflect back to my role as an educator. In the classroom, there was a movement for the teacher to be less of a “sage on the stage” (teacher-centered approach) and more of a “guide on the side” (student-centered). To me, therapy is a lesson plan for a learning experience. It's a guide to develop what the client needs to learn in order to cope with whatever barriers are showing up in the client's life, whether that barrier is an internal issue, such as self-image, or how to cope with work stress.
My therapeutic perspective is to provide empathetic, non-judgmental, compassionate guidance and support in an atmosphere of respect and safety while allowing clients to be the experts of their lives, much like “a co-pilot, a sous chef, or an assistant manager” of a client-therapist relationship. I use solution-focused elements to help move toward desired goals, cognitive behavioral techniques to challenge unhelpful thoughts, and motivational interviewing to help gain understanding and clarity. Outside of traditional therapy, I enjoy the practices of mindfulness, guided meditation, aromatherapy, and Reiki.
Finding a therapist that's the right fit can be a challenging task, but taking that first step towards a healthier you is worth it. I look forward to working with you to help break down those barriers and make progress in areas that most matter to you.
My approach is augmented by previous experience in community-based mental health as well as outpatient and intensive outpatient substance abuse recovery. He has also been a student of martial arts for almost 2 decades and has been exposed to its teachings and discipline. These experiences contribute to a unique skill set and a multidimensional approach that recognizes the importance of the client, family, culture, and community in guiding a successful treatment.

Are you feeling stuck, telling yourself that you are going to change, but somehow ending up doing exactly what you promised yourself you wouldn’t do? Do you convince yourself that you are going to move forward and then find that anxiety, hopelessness, harsh self-judgments, or a bad temper take control and push you backwards? Do you find yourself in relationship patterns that leave you feeling cut off from those you long to be close too? If this sounds familiar, you don't have to face this alone. There are reasons you feel this way, and you can discover what those reasons are and how you can change to live a more fulfilling life.
You may feel stuck because the way you are trying to solve your problems is by going back to the same strategies that got you stuck in the first place. It can be confusing seeing yourself stuck in thoughts and behaviors you know don’t work. Often this is because in the moment those strategies appear to be the only sensible choice, even when they aren’t.
If you choose to work with me, together we can explore the ins and outs of that confusion so that you can find your way out of it. Because that can often feel threatening and disorienting, I will be patient and give you the space and safety needed to do this work at your own pace. Be that fast or slow or in-between. I look forward to working with you.
Clients should know that I’m down-to-earth, non-judgmental, and a genuine person. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be real—no masks, no pressure, no shame. I bring warmth and care into the room, along with a sense of humor when it’s helpful, because healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy to be meaningful.
I’m also solution-focused and collaborative. That means we’ll spend time understanding what’s going on, but we won’t get stuck there. We’ll work together to identify practical tools, coping strategies, and small, realistic steps that can help you feel better in your day-to-day life. Above all, I care deeply about meeting you where you are and supporting you in a way that feels respectful, empowering, and aligned with your goals.
I am an LMHC therapist, public speaker, community organizer, social and environmental activist, and have been listening for decades. My Master of Clinical Psychotherapy, 2013 came from the University of North Florida. I experienced a Clinical Pastoral Education, in deep listening. I worked in the Talk program at Wounded the warriors talked; I listened.
Trauma Supportive Therapy is used to safely address, as slowly as need be, the pain of the past that keeps coming to trip your defenses in the present at all the wrong moments. I can be that supporting presence who will help sort it out by listening, sincerely hearing you, reflecting the depth of your feelings back to you. I practice the therapy of defining personal meaning, so, together we will think about your options, planning, purpose, and goals for living a meaningful life without being afraid of tripping over your past or yourself.
I practice person centered therapy by meeting you where you are. I strive to be culturally sensitive, non-prejudicial and use strength-based therapy as a jump point, truly believing I am the guide for you, but you are the treasures and wisdom keeper. Of all the reasons people come to therapy: anger, guilt, anxiety, changes, transitions, depression, trauma, jealousy, and “it is just not working anymore”, the extra burden of race and racism is more than just a nuance to be nodded at in therapy. I will view race as central to all the other pieces, when it is central to you.
I am inclusive, secular, competent, affirming, and non-judgmental. I have worked with people in transition, people who are very much defined, “but things got complicated”, people in the communities of LGBTQA, Polyamory, Kink, non-gendered. Each are safe and welcome here.
Welcome to my practice… Whether you’re adjusting to a new chapter, carrying the weight of loss, or feeling overwhelmed by stress, I provide a safe and supportive space to reconnect with your strength and values. I use evidence-based approaches like ACT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy to help you move forward with purpose — even when life feels heavy. 16 + years of supporting others from various backgrounds and life circumstances, I am honored to serve with you in this journey.
I’m a trauma-informed, compassionate therapist who believes healing happens when you feel truly seen, heard, and safe. My goal is to create a supportive space where you can explore what’s holding you back while also receiving practical, achievable tools that lead to real and lasting change.

Hi there, I am Charly.
As a clinical therapist, I admire your willingness to seek therapy support. I want to offer understanding, and empathic emotional support to assist anyone experiencing emotional distress.
Most people tend to suffer silently in their heads, or minds, due to conscious or subconscious, self-blame, shame, or guilt feelings as they seem to feel helpless. Individuals experiencing acute emotional distress due to mental health conditions often fail to realize that unresolved, deep internal pain or heartache is silently triggering their emotional distress.
One school of talk therapy called, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), proposes that the lack of the capacity for "Psychological Flexibility" and our brain's default, or Survival Mode functioning the instinctual responses of "Flight or Flight," as required for human survival.
As, your therapist, I am willing to support you in exploring your difficulty or distress and examine the mental barriers or psychological blinders causing you to feel internally conflicted and stuck. Some of my past and current clients tell me that "my ability to relate to them with an open mind and withholding personal judgment and a solution-focused perspective," helps them to feel at ease and connect with me and my style of therapy.
I follow an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from academic learning, experiential knowledge, and over 30 years of practicing experience using evidence-based treatment modalities based on scientific literature and up-to-date neuroscience research. I have training and experience in the following major treatment modalities such as CBT, REBT, SFBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and specifically to deal with trauma, a newer form of Rapid Eye Movement Therapy (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).

Hello, my name is Jess. My purpose is to provide a safe space for you to explore the painful circumstances you find yourself experiencing. Then, empower you to make the changes that will lead you to a more fulfilling and peaceful life. It will be my honor to guide and support you along your journey of creating a happy, healthy you.
I didn’t become a therapist because I believed life should be perfect—I became a therapist because I know how complex, messy, and deeply human life can be.
Over the years, I’ve sat with many people navigating anxiety, overwhelming life transitions, relationship struggles, and the quiet pressure to “hold it all together.” My goal in therapy is to create a space where you don’t have to do that alone. A space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment—and begin to make sense of what you’re carrying.
My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that healing happens when people feel truly seen and understood. I often work with adults who feel stretched between responsibilities, expectations, and their own emotional needs. I also have a special place in my heart for supporting women and mothers as they move through pregnancy, postpartum changes, and the many emotional layers of parenthood.
In our work together, I integrate evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, while also focusing on practical tools that help regulate the nervous system and create meaningful change in everyday life. Therapy with me is collaborative—we work together to understand patterns, process difficult experiences, and help you move toward the life you want to build.
I founded my practice with the intention of creating a space that feels warm, supportive, and human. A place where both clients and clinicians can feel safe to grow, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.
Outside of my work, I value time with my family, creativity, and designing environments that feel calm, comforting, and restorative—because I believe the spaces we create, both internally and externally, play an important role in healing.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and have trained as a professional life coach. I have been working in this field since 2009 and had been a special education teacher for 13 years and am currently working as a school social worker in high school in Tampa, Florida for the last 8 years. I have a lot of experience with working with children and adults when wanting to address challenging behaviors and building on individuals' strengths. I also have worked with couples for years, helping partners learn active listening and build on their communication skills to learn how to validate others' feelings and thoughts.
As a therapist, I specialize in supporting women navigating the unique challenges of modern life, especially those striving to find a healthier work-life balance. As a single mom of two, I understand firsthand the demands of juggling parenting, career, and personal well-being. I’ve built my practice from the ground up while managing the chaos, and I bring that real-life experience into my work with clients. I help women reconnect with their strengths, find clarity amid the noise, and feel like their best, most empowered selves.
I provide compassionate, evidence-based support to individuals navigating grief, loss, serious illness, and major life transitions. With 9 years of hospice experience, I have supported patients and families facing terminal illness, end-of-life concerns, caregiver stress, anxiety, and depression.
My approach is personalized and collaborative, using CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients build coping skills, process difficult emotions, and improve quality of life. I strive to meet clients where they are with respect, clarity, and empathy.
