New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who specializes in working with adolescents and young adults navigating challenges related to anxiety, executive functioning, and relationships. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel understood while building practical skills to manage stress, improve focus and organization, and develop healthier connections with others. My approach is collaborative, warm, and strengths-based, helping clients gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing tools they can apply in everyday life. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by school, work, life transitions, motivation struggles, or relationship difficulties, I work alongside you to identify meaningful goals and create lasting, positive change. My goal is to help clients build confidence, improve self-awareness, and feel more capable of navigating life's challenges.
During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other and exploring what brought you to therapy. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, relationships, strengths, and goals so I can better understand your unique experiences and needs. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what you're hoping to gain from therapy, and get a feel for whether we're a good fit. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we begin working together.
Clients often find me to be relatable, compassionate, and easy to talk to. I strive to create a space where people feel comfortable being themselves while also feeling challenged and supported in their growth. Along with my professional training and clinical experience, my own life experiences have given me a broader perspective and a deeper appreciation for the challenges people face. I bring a balance of empathy, curiosity, and practical problem-solving, helping clients better understand themselves and develop tools they can use in their everyday lives.
My ideal clients are teenagers, college students, and young adults who are navigating life's transitions and looking for support in creating meaningful change. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, low motivation, self-confidence, stress, relationship challenges, or uncertainty about their future. Often, they know something needs to change but aren't quite sure how to move forward. I work best with clients who value a collaborative and authentic therapeutic relationship. They appreciate a therapist who is warm, approachable, and nonjudgmental, while also being willing to challenge them when needed. Whether they are adjusting to college, exploring their identity, building healthier relationships, managing overwhelming emotions, or working toward personal goals, I enjoy helping clients recognize their strengths and develop practical strategies for growth. My ideal clients don't need to have everything figured out, they simply need a willingness to explore, learn, and take small steps toward the life they want to create. Together, we focus on building insight, confidence, resilience, and lasting skills that clients can carry with them long after therapy ends.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns, challenge negative thinking, and develop practical strategies that support healthier coping, improved mood, and progress toward their goals
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore their goals, strengthen motivation, and build confidence in their ability to make meaningful changes. Rather than telling clients what they should do, I work collaboratively to help them identify their own values, recognize barriers, and resolve feelings of ambivalence that may be keeping them stuck.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify their strengths, build on existing successes, and create practical steps toward their goals. Rather than focusing primarily on problems or past difficulties, this approach emphasizes what is working, what clients want to be different, and how they can move toward meaningful change.
