Hi, I’m Jessica Aubuchon, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I believe that healing happens when we feel truly seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore life’s challenges, gain insight, and build the tools needed to create meaningful change. I work with individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and issues related to self-esteem and personal growth. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), humanistic, and somatic approaches. Whether you are navigating a difficult season, processing past experiences, or seeking a deeper connection with yourself and others, I am here to support you on your journey toward healing and growth.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and it’s completely normal to feel nervous or unsure about what to expect. Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another in a comfortable and supportive environment. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any challenges you’re currently facing. I’ll also answer any questions you have about the therapy process. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we will move at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together moving forward.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel safe to be themselves. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. I take an individualized approach to therapy, recognizing that every person’s story and needs are unique. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all method, I tailor treatment to each client, drawing from evidence-based approaches while helping clients build practical tools they can use in everyday life. Clients often appreciate my balance of compassion and directness. Together, we explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck while also identifying your strengths, resilience, and capacity for growth.
I work best with individuals and couples who are seeking greater understanding, healing, and balance in their lives. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, navigating relationship challenges, recovering from difficult life experiences, or searching for a deeper connection with themselves. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. Whether you are working through stress, trauma, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, or questions about meaning and purpose, therapy can provide a space to slow down, gain clarity, and move forward with greater confidence and resilience. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds, identities, and belief systems and strive to create an environment where you feel safe, respected, and understood.
I identify as
Humanistic
I believe healing happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and understood. My humanistic approach focuses on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward the life you want to create. Together, we will build on what is already working within you while navigating the challenges that bring you to therapy.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I believe healing happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and understood. My humanistic approach focuses on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward the life you want to create. Together, we will build on what is already working within you while navigating the challenges that bring you to therapy.
Faith based therapy
For clients who would like to incorporate faith or spirituality into therapy, I welcome those conversations with openness and respect. Whether faith is a central part of your life or simply one source of meaning and strength, we can thoughtfully integrate it into the healing process in a way that feels authentic and supportive to you.
Eclectic
I believe therapy should be tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I draw from a variety of evidence-based techniques and therapeutic styles to support your goals. Together, we will find an approach that fits your personality, strengths, and life experiences while helping you move toward meaningful and lasting change.
Couples Counseling
Relationships can be one of our greatest sources of connection, but they can also bring challenges, misunderstandings, and pain. In couples counseling, I provide a supportive and balanced space where both partners can feel heard and understood. Together, we work to improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, navigate conflict, rebuild trust, and develop healthier patterns that support a stronger relationship.
