LMHC, 7 years of experience
New to Grow
Hello, I'm Carele, a dedicated LMHC committed to guiding individuals towards holistic wellness and personal growth. I have 7 years of experience working with clients with mood and adjustment disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I specialize in working with individuals with anxiety, depression, stress, PTSD and adjustment issues. Together, we'll collaborate to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, uncovering patterns and insights that promote understanding and growth. Through our partnership, you can anticipate genuine support, empathetic guidance, and a commitment to your well-being every step of the way.
In our first session, I’ll take time to get to know you, your background, and what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, current challenges, and what you’d like to get out of our work together. I’ll also explain my approach and answer any questions you may have, so you feel comfortable and supported. By the end of the session, we’ll begin outlining a plan tailored to your needs, while keeping the pace gentle and collaborative.
During our sessions together, you can expect a warm and nonjudgmental environment where your experiences and concerns are valued and respected.
I am best positioned to serve clients who are seeking support with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and stress management. I work well with individuals who are motivated to make positive changes but may feel stuck in unhelpful thought patterns or overwhelmed by self-criticism. My approach is supportive and collaborative, helping clients build coping skills, increase self-compassion, and move toward their personal goals at a pace that feels right for them.
I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thoughts, manage emotional responses, and build healthier coping strategies. In my practice, I apply CBT in a collaborative, goal-oriented way, tailoring interventions such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and skill-building to meet each client’s needs.
I use Compassion Focused Therapy to help clients reduce self-criticism and develop a kinder, more balanced relationship with themselves. In my practice, I guide clients through mindfulness, imagery, and compassionate mind training techniques to strengthen emotional regulation and promote resilience.
I use a Person-Centered approach by creating a nonjudgmental, empathetic, and supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions. By fostering unconditional positive regard and genuine therapeutic presence, I empower clients to build insight and move toward personal growth.
I practice culturally sensitive therapy by respecting and integrating each client’s cultural values, beliefs, and identity into the therapeutic process. I strive to create an inclusive space where clients feel understood, and I adapt interventions to be both clinically effective and culturally appropriate.
