I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides supportive, down to earth therapy for individuals and couples across Florida and Massachusetts through telehealth. I help clients work through anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions using a thoughtful, evidence based approach that’s tailored to your needs. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported as you gain clarity, confidence, and tools to move forward.
Hi there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been working with families and individuals since 2011. I love helping people discover more peace and connection in their lives as well as create a healthy work-life balance.I work with adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, eating disorders, and life transitions. My approach is supportive, insight-oriented, and practical—helping you understand patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been practicing in the local community since 2011. I began my career working with a non-profit by helping children, teenagers, parents, and couples who struggled with various issues, ranging from learning to cope with day-to-day stressors to healing from major traumas.
In the years since then, I’ve helped young adults in college wrestling with academic pressure, newly blended families yearning for harmony, couples searching to renew faded intimacy, and individuals struggling to overcome addictive patterns. This broad range of therapeutic experience has helped me to become well-rounded as a mental health professional.
I would describe myself as a goofy and radically empathetic therapist that struggles with severe ADHD and also anxiety. Not to mention the grief! I am big on being vulnerable myself. We must lead by example. I also am a strong believer in the power of connection. If you cannot connect with your therapist, research says that therapy is not likely to be effective. I prioritize the therapeutic relationship above all else. That is my foundation. That means I pride myself on not being a robot. I cannot believe I have to say this, but many students in therapy have told me that they have had robotic therapist. That is not me. I believe the most powerful therapeutic techniques are empathy and unconditional love, and those are the values I do my best to display consistently.
I currently provide individual counseling to students at Miami Dade College and I have found that I really enjoy working with college students that recently graduated from high school. I find that the world treats them cruelly at such an overwhelming time of their lives and they deserve unconditional love, not tough love.
In nearly 15 years of practice, I have had the privilege of working with patients, loved ones and medical providers to address a variety health issues including, but not limited to, sudden hospitalization, new diagnosis(es), chronic illness, high risk pregnancy, infertility and reproductive concerns, diabetes, cancer, bleeding disorders, end of life, and chronic pain. My professional experiences have provided me with the opportunity to work with hundreds of individuals and their medical providers as they have navigated on their journey to, through and beyond diagnosis.
My goal is to provide a safe space for patients, family members and medical providers to work through their thoughts and feelings. The approach to your therapy will be one of collaboration, with me providing support in a non-judgmental environment and you making the final decisions on which path you wish to embark on.
I am so grateful that you are here and made it to this first step. Have the events, losses, stress, demands and relationships in life led you down a path where your light has dimmed? Has your work / life balance become so undefined that you no longer have the motivation you used to? I provide a warm, empathetic and healing relationship where you feel comfortable to explore your journey to achieving greater emotional wellness.
Above all else, we are human beings and can naturally relate to each other when provided with the safe space to do so. My unique background supporting clients both in the corporate world as well as inpatient clinical setting allow me to form strong alliances with a wide range of individuals. Having the ability to make one feel heard, understood and valued is a particular strength and one that gives me great purpose. I specialize in supporting adults, young and older, struggling with stress (work related or personal), anxiety, depression, addictions and unhealthy relationships. I also assist with healing from grief and loss, traumatic experiences, and life transitions.
Through a process of providing you with opportunities to improve self confidence, make lifestyle adjustments, and find acceptance, you are able to discover inner serenity and resiliency. We will peel away the layers that no longer serve you.

You are here hoping to find that therapist who stands out to you because you want to find someone who can help you. The search can be overwhelming for some. Most of the profiles of therapists are going to say similar things. Most of which should be standard like brakes on a car.
I cannot promise I'm the right one for you. Here is what I can tell you about my approach. I believe in being practical which means I will not use a lot of psycho-babble or fancy strategies. I have a tendency to be blunt. My wife says I'm the "bluntest politest man" she has ever met. I'm going to be real with you.
I love couples/marriage counseling, and that is my main focus. However, about half of my clients have always been individuals. Some people just need a place to vent. Others need help solving a problem, and most people need a little of both.
I know therapy might be a little intimidating or even scary to some. Try to think of it as a massage for your brain. It's a place where you can say whatever you want guilt-free.

Jennifer is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Indiana and Florida. She has over 17 years of post graduate experience and has worked in a variety of settings such as inpatient, outpatient, private practice, school and correctional settings. Jennifer works with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, anger, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, parenting struggles and women's health concerns. Whether you are navigating obstacles or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can be a place to reconnect with what gives your life meaning. Jennifer believes every individual has the capacity for growth, resilience, and meaningful change when given the right support. Healing is not about becoming someone new—it is about reconnecting with the person you are beneath life's challenges. It is easy to lose touch with yourself while carrying the weight of stress, painful experiences, or life's many demands. Together, you will explore the challenges you are facing, honor your unique story and the choices available to you in the present. Rather than trying to eliminate every uncomfortable thought or emotion, we will make room for the full range of your human experience while exploring how you can respond in ways that align with your values, purpose and hopes for the future. Healing is not about avoiding suffering or having all the answers. It is about developing the courage to face life's uncertainties, embrace your freedom to choose your path and cultivate a life that feels authentic, connected, and meaningful.
