My name is Marion Crabb, LCSW-QS, and I bring over a decade of expertise in case management and therapy. My journey in the field began with child protective services, where I provided support to children, families, and individuals experiencing substance abuse, domestic violence, needs for family counseling, and mental health challenges. As I transitioned and my career progressed, I expanded my practice to include working with older adults, individuals experiencing homelessness, and people with disabilities. Throughout my career, my core objective has remained the same: to offer clients a secure and welcoming space to express themselves fully, while working collaboratively toward personal growth, harm reduction, and enhanced self-worth.

Let's get to know each other. Let's set a foundation for a supportive, collaborative, relationship. You showing up let's me know that you are ready address what has been creating a barrier in your life or you just need someone to talk to. Trust I know you don't have it all figured out, none of us do. Our first session is not to " fix everything. " We will start off with warm welcomes and introductions, what brings you to want therapy, setting goals, and exploring if we are a fit for each other. It’s an opportunity to begin building trust and understanding. We'll start by exploring your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at a pace that honors where you are right now. There is no pressure to have all the answers—this is a space for you to be heard and supported as you take your first steps toward growth.

With years of experience in therapy and case management, I have found that every client is unique. Understanding each person helps me tailor my approach to their specific needs. I stay informed about new mental health treatments to offer effective support. My practice encourages clients to develop realistic perspectives and better strategies for life's challenges. I use techniques to help you handle difficult times more effectively.

I believe that perfection is unattainable; we all require some form of support, whether significant or minor, to help us navigate life’s journey. The question often arises: who can you confide in? It’s important to feel safe, understood, and validated in this process. I enjoy working with a diverse population, women, men, young adults , older adults, and those individuals who are trying to figure life out no matter their identity. I work with ppl who are trying to navigate life, school, work, family, etc. We all are facing some kind of obstacle. My approach is centered on being warm, nonjudgmental, and highly skilled, ensuring that clients receive the support they need. The ultimate aim of therapy is to foster self-awareness, build confidence, and achieve emotional peace. I am committed to partnering with you to reach these goals in a realistic and attainable way. Let’s collaborate at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy is not a race to the finish line; rather, it’s about discovering and utilizing effective strategies to better navigate life’s challenges together.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have over 10 yrs of using this method. I use this treatment by exploring and identifying with my clients their thoughts and how it affects their feelings, which in turn influences their behaviors. The goal is to replace negative thoughts and behaviors with more balanced and realistic ones.

Motivational Interviewing

I have used this method for over the past 10 yrs, and have witnessed that it gives my clients insight into their own world that they have never seen before. I apply this treatment method by first making sure my client feels comfortable with me by creating a safe space. My goal is to engage and build rapport. I want to help my client to recognize their goals and values, by looking at where they are now and where they would like to be in the future.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness is all about being in the moment. Recognizing and addressing your thoughts and feelings as they arise. I apply this method with my clients by using meditation, breathing, and body awareness. By using these techniques it allows my clients to stabilize their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors better.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Some clients prefer short-term support with practical strategies for quick progress. I've used SFBT throughout my career to help clients achieve meaningful, minor improvements by guiding them while they lead the process. Our focus stays on their goals rather than past issues.
