New to Grow
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has experience working with children, teens, and adults as anyone can face transitional periods that can become overwhelming. My passion is to help others thrive, feel empowered, and learn the tools to overcome challenges that may come their way. I work with populations struggling with depression, anxiety, social anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, family struggles, ADHD, and trauma-related symptoms.
The session will look a lot like me getting to know you as an individual and as a teammate as we embark on this therapeutic journey. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients by exploring strengths, challenges, hobbies, and skills.
As a therapist I offer a warm, non-judgmental environment for my client to be themselves within the space of the therapy session. I bring my own authenticity into sessions while maintaining professional boundaries throughout the treatment while the client explores and implements skills.
I work best with open-minded individuals that are willing to put in the work outside of the therapy space to facilitate change. I have worked with various people and populations including depression, anger, struggles with self-esteem or life transitions. What I found to be the foundation of successful treatment is the therapeutic relationship and the will of the client to change/grow whether it's through behavioral and cognitive shifts or learning about the self or ways to cope.

By using a collaborative approach, having check-ins and reviewing the treatment progress is important to determine growth in an individual. Usually techniques used that facilitate exploration and cogntitive work while integrating behavior and skill building are a key core to enhancing treatment progress. Some sessions may look like skill training, role-playing, or exploring thought processes.
