I am so grateful that you are here and made it to this first step. Have the events, losses, stress, demands and relationships in life led you down a path where your light has dimmed? Has your work / life balance become so undefined that you no longer have the motivation you used to? I provide a warm, empathetic and healing relationship where you feel comfortable to explore your journey to achieving greater emotional wellness. Above all else, we are human beings and can naturally relate to each other when provided with the safe space to do so. My unique background supporting clients both in the corporate world as well as inpatient clinical setting allow me to form strong alliances with a wide range of individuals. Having the ability to make one feel heard, understood and valued is a particular strength and one that gives me great purpose. I specialize in supporting adults, young and older, struggling with stress (work related or personal), anxiety, depression, addictions and unhealthy relationships. I also assist with healing from grief and loss, traumatic experiences, and life transitions. Through a process of providing you with opportunities to improve self confidence, make lifestyle adjustments, and find acceptance, you are able to discover inner serenity and resiliency. We will peel away the layers that no longer serve you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session is a combination of getting to know you and your unique experiences that make up who you are today. While we focus primarily on the here and now and what we can control, I do believe in exploration of the past to deepen your understanding as to why you feel the way you do today. Making those connections through validation, greater awareness, and the decision that it is no longer serving you, gives a person great power and hope for the future. I want clients to bring their true self and just be able to show up as you are, even if you feel as if you are broken and messy. Our partnership is unconditional.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am able to join you wherever you may be at this moment and feel confident that your unique experience will be understood from your point of view. Clients typically tell me that they feel relief and hope in a short amount of time and are understood on a different level. Trust, comfort and ultimately progress are gained through a strong partnership driven by empathy, warmth and honesty. Let’s grow together!

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

The greatest outcomes have been with those that understand that this relationship is a great way to lay the foundation, the real power lies in actionable steps taken independently through modification of your thoughts and behaviors. Clients who realize that they have great potential, but are unsure how to reach that optimal place are great matches for a partnership with me.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The basis for creating awareness within ourselves and promoting positive growth and change is to examine our thoughts and behaviors. This also becomes the foundation of treatment with goals that aim to modify, increase or decrease certain behaviors to effect certain outcomes. Our thoughts, whether negative, positive or neutral, create the pathways to where we want to go. By learning how to be in control of them, we are in control of our direction moving forward.
