You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I provide a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, navigating a difficult life transition, struggling in your relationships, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to face it alone. My approach is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I believe therapy is a partnership where you'll feel heard, respected, and supported while also being gently challenged to grow. Together, we'll make sense of what's weighing on you, identify patterns that may be holding you back, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful strategies that fit your life. My goal is to help you gain confidence, develop resilience, and take lasting steps toward healing, personal growth, and living a more fulfilling life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to make your first session feel comfortable and productive. We'll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brought you to therapy, exploring your personal history, and identifying the goals you'd like to work toward. I'll answer any questions you have about the therapy process and work collaboratively with you to develop a treatment plan that fits your needs. My approach is conversational, compassionate, and focused on helping you feel understood from the very beginning. There is no pressure to have everything figured out—we'll take it one step at a time, together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe therapy should be a balance of compassion, honesty, and practical change. Clients often describe me as approachable, genuine, and easy to talk to, while also appreciating that I challenge them when needed to promote growth. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I tailor treatment to each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. My background includes working with adolescents, adults, families, individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. In addition to providing therapy, I have served in clinical leadership roles overseeing outpatient, residential, and prevention programs, giving me a broad understanding of both complex clinical needs and everyday life challenges. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and person-centered care. My goal is to help clients not only understand why they feel the way they do but also develop practical tools they can use between sessions to create meaningful, lasting change. Above all, I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to become the healthiest version of themselves.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is ready to better understand themselves and make meaningful changes, even if they're unsure where to begin. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and substance use. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or simply stuck, I provide a supportive space where we can work together to build insight, develop practical coping skills, and create lasting, positive change. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy—just willing to take the first step toward becoming the healthiest version of yourself.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps us understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we'll identify unhelpful thinking patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, or other challenges and replace them with healthier, more balanced ways of thinking. We'll also develop practical coping strategies you can use in everyday life so you feel more confident managing difficult situations, improving relationships, and reaching your personal goals. My goal is to provide tools that create lasting change both inside and outside of our sessions.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative approach that helps you explore your goals, strengthen your motivation, and build confidence in your ability to make meaningful changes. Rather than telling you what to do, I'll help you identify what's most important to you, work through any uncertainty, and develop a plan that feels realistic and achievable. This approach is especially helpful for navigating life transitions, improving relationships, managing anxiety or substance use, and making lasting changes at your own pace.
