Hi, I’m Glen Cognac, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. I specialize in helping adults who are struggling with addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. For years I’ve worked across different levels of care, from PHP and IOP to outpatient treatment, which has given me a unique perspective on what clients truly need at different stages of recovery and healing.
My approach is neuroscience-informed and evidence-based. I draw from EMDR, CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients not only understand what is happening in their lives, but also why. By looking at how the brain and body respond to stress, trauma, and cravings, I help people build practical tools that make lasting change possible.
I believe therapy should feel like a safe, nonjudgmental space where you don’t just talk about your struggles, but also discover strengths you may not have realized you had. Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck, ashamed, or afraid of repeating old patterns; and together we create a new way forward.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will listen with compassion, offer clarity, and give you tools that actually work in daily life, I’d be honored to support you.
I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist who believes that healing begins with authenticity and self-acceptance. My work centers on creating a safe, inclusive space where clients feel seen, valued, and empowered to explore all parts of their identity. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors intersect, and to reframe patterns that may no longer serve them. I also draw on distress tolerance and emotional regulation techniques to support clients in managing difficult emotions with compassion and resilience.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that each person has the capacity for growth and change. I strive to meet clients where they are, honoring their lived experiences while guiding them toward greater confidence, balance, and authenticity. My goal is to help individuals not just cope, but truly thrive — living unapologetically as themselves.
If you're a millennial or Gen-Z navigating the rollercoaster of life, you're in the right place. Let's be real, this stage of life can feel overwhelming, especially with all the intense emotions, life transitions, and relationship complexities we face. I get it – I've been there too. That's why I've created a space where you can feel safe, understood, and empowered to build the life you truly want.
As a relational therapist, I believe that healing happens best when we feel seen, heard, and understood. Together, we will build a safe and comfortable space where you can be yourself, without judgement. We'll dig into what's happened in the past and what's going on now - not just in your head, but also how it shows up in your body and your relationships.
We'll explore those intense emotions, family dynamics, and complex feelings that you're struggling to understand and communicate. Processing in therapy isn't only verbal, so I enjoy using activities you're interested in to help you feel grounded. What's important to me is helping you find your way back to yourself and the connections that matter most - with quality time and good company.
When I'm not in session, I enjoy working on home projects, staying active, planning for self care and cooking/baking for friends and family. As someone who thrives on quality time, I enjoy hosting dinner parties, curating the perfect menu and music playlist for my guests.
I bring that passion for connection, creativity and experience into our sessions to inspire and highlight your strengths.

Hello, my name is Justine Nyman.
I want to thank you for taking the time to seek support. It is not easy to reach out or even realize that counseling/support is needed. So, I welcome you to therapy.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I have 10 years' experience and continue to grow in my therapeutic approaches and my knowledge as a therapist.
I create an environment where the client feels comfortable and open to emotional vulnerability. In order to express ourselves and be open with our struggles we need to feel comfortable in the therapeutic process. I use acceptance with my clients and don't judge them based on their history or their current choices. I want the client to feel that they can start their journey, set goals, use coping skills, and improve their overall well-being.
Counseling is a process and takes time. Some individuals require more time than others and that is okay. I believe in moving with the pace of the client, through setting goals and practicing tools is essential for change. In order to feel change, we need to make changes in our everyday lives. If we don't initiate changes, it becomes a struggle to move forward.
"Practice makes permanent"
I look forward to working with you on your journey of growth, mastery, and success.

I will always provide a safe space of acceptance and non-judgement for you to share your emotional pain, grow to love and be kind to yourself, and find the peace you deserve to heal.
