LCSW, 5 years of experience
New to Grow
Hi there! I’m Victoria, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). My passion is helping adults gain a deeper understanding of themselves and make meaningful changes in their lives. Whether you’re dealing with challenges like setting healthy boundaries, navigating depression, improving self-esteem, or managing everyday stress, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Through a variety of therapeutic techniques, I aim to empower you to create the life you envision. I truly believe in fostering a warm and safe environment where you can fully express yourself and thrive.
During our first session, I will dive deep into what makes you who you are. I need to understand your past to help you identify current thoughts, triggers, and belief systems. From there, we will discuss what brought you to therapy and what goals you want to work on. Don't worry about being "prepared" for treatment; you don't have to have topics or goals ready in advance. We will work together to discover them. Throughout our time together, those goals might change and need to be adjusted, which is common, and we will adapt as we need. Most importantly, I want you to feel safe, understood, and in control.
Is my believe that therapy is most effective when there’s a genuine connection and trust between us. My goal is to create an environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Our sessions will honor the depth of your story, allowing you to process at your own pace. Using a collaborative, trauma-informed approach and evidence-based practices such as DBT, I help clients develop emotional resilience, self-awareness, and agency. I am committed to holding space with awareness and sensitivity to the lived experiences of LGBTQIA and BIPOC individuals, recognizing how systems, identity, and culture impact our inner worlds.
Adults who might feel stuck or overwhelmed by life’s challenges. Possibly experiencing depression, anxiety, or the weight of past trauma. These are not experiences you need to have alone. Together, we can explore what lies beneath the surface of your thoughts and emotions, helping you gain control and confidence in yourself and your life.
I primarily use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in my practice. This approach helps you learn how to navigate the middle path by regulating your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Throughout the treatment, we will focus on developing skills to improve your inner dialogue and enhance your responses to those around you.
