(she/her)
Welcome to a counseling space where your story is honored and your healing journey is supported with care and expertise. I am a licensed mental health counselor based in Florida, military spouse, and mom of three fur babies. I specialize in relationship issues, attachment trauma, anxiety, depression, stress management, PTSD/cPTSD, women's health issues, and neurodivergence (ADHD and autism). I believe healing happens through connection, and that you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges by yourself. If you're a female struggling with trauma, navigating women's health challenges, or managing neurodivergence, you're not alone—and your experience deserves understanding and care. Together, we'll create a personalized path toward healing and empowerment that fits your needs and respects your journey.
In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, non-judgemental space where we’ll begin getting to know each other. I’ll ask some questions to better understand what’s bringing you to therapy, your current challenges, how the past impacts the present, and what you hope to get out of our work together. There’s no need to have it all figured out—this is your time, and we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is to create a sense of safety, connection, and clarity as we begin your healing journey.
What stands out about my approach is that I focus on getting to the root of the issue, rather than just offering "quick fixes". I believe real, lasting change happens when we understand the deeper patterns behind our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I draw from trauma-informed, attachment-based, and strength-focused frameworks, tailoring each session to fit your unique needs and goals. I take a direct, honest approach by sharing what I see and gently challenging clients to promote long-term growth and change. I also believe that therapy is a collaborative process—meaningful progress happens when clients are willing to actively engage and put in the work alongside me. Together, we create a space where real healing and transformation can happen and to help you reconnect with your inner resilience, make sense of your story, and build tools that actually work in your real life.
I work with girls and women ages 12 and up who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of themselves. You might be dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, autism, relationship challenges, life changes, or the effects of past trauma. You may also be navigating women’s health concerns or trying to better understand your emotions and needs. My ideal client is someone who wants a safe, supportive space to be heard and understood, and who is ready—at their own pace—to build confidence, find their voice, and feel more empowered in their life. If you’re feeling nervous about reaching out, you’re not alone—starting therapy can feel like a big step. It’s okay to feel unsure or even scared. We can take things one small step at a time, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. You deserve support. You deserve to tell your story. Everyone and every story is welcome.
EMDR
In my work as a therapist, I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as a gentle, step-by-step approach to help clients work through difficult experiences. I focus first on making sure you feel safe, comfortable, and supported, and we go at a pace that feels right for you. EMDR helps your brain process memories that may feel “stuck,” so they become less overwhelming over time. As this happens, many clients notice they feel calmer, think about themselves in more positive ways, and have an easier time handling emotions and everyday challenges.
Trauma-Focused CBT
Trauma-focused CBT is an evidence-based approach that helps clients process and make sense of traumatic experiences in a safe and structured way. It empowers clients to challenge unhelpful thoughts and develop coping skills to reduce trauma-related symptoms like anxiety and flashbacks. This approach promotes healing by helping clients regain control and build resilience after trauma.
Strength-Based
I use a strength-based approach in therapy because it focuses on clients’ existing resources, resilience, and capabilities rather than just their problems. This perspective helps empower clients by building confidence and reinforcing their sense of agency. By highlighting what’s working well, we can foster hope and support meaningful, lasting change.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in trauma work because it equips clients with practical skills to manage intense emotions, reduce self-destructive behaviors, and improve distress tolerance. DBT helps clients build emotional regulation, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness, creating a strong foundation for safely processing and healing from past trauma.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) help you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. Together, we look at patterns that may be keeping you stuck and learn simple ways to challenge unhelpful thoughts and try new behaviors. I focus on making sure the tools feel clear and useful, and we go at a pace that works for you. CBT can help you feel more in control, improve your mood, and build skills you can use in your everyday life.

Just had an orientation meeting with Hannah. I would definitely say that she is welcoming and super sweet. We covered some main keys to look out for. I look forward to speaking with her in the future.
