New to Grow
I am Hannah Orozco - a licensed mental health counselor based in Florida, military spouse, and mom of three fur babies. I specialize in trauma, women's health issues, and neurodivergence as a therapist and an individual who knows the challenges personally. I believe healing happens through connection, and that you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just in need of a space to process, I’m here to walk alongside you without judgement and at your own pace.
In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, non-judgemental space where we’ll begin getting to know each other. I’ll ask some questions to better understand what’s bringing you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you hope to get out of our work together. There’s no need to have it all figured out—this is your time, and we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is to create a sense of safety, connection, and clarity as we begin your healing journey.
What stands out about my approach is that I focus on getting to the root of the issue, rather than just offering "quick fixes". I believe real, lasting change happens when we understand the deeper patterns behind our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I draw from trauma-informed, attachment-based, and strength-focused frameworks, tailoring each session to fit your unique needs and goals. I take a direct, honest approach by sharing what I see and gently challenging clients to promote long-term growth and change. I also believe that therapy is a collaborative process—meaningful progress happens when clients are willing to actively engage and put in the work alongside me. Together, we create a space where real healing and transformation can happen and to help you reconnect with your inner resilience, make sense of your story, and build tools that actually work in your real life.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by the constant juggling of your mental, emotional, and physical health? Maybe you're a neurodivergent woman navigating a world that often feels misaligned with your needs, or a teenage girl facing the emotional weight of anxiety, hormonal changes, or invisible illness. You may be carrying the impact of trauma—whether recent or long-buried—while trying to manage school, work, relationships, or simply daily life. If this sounds like you, you’re not alone—and you don't have to do this alone. I specialize in working with neurodivergent women (age 13+) who are dealing with complex intersections of trauma, women's health issues (like PCOS, endometriosis, PMDD), and chronic medical conditions. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and rooted in compassion. My goal is for you to walk away from our work with a stronger sense of self, reduced emotional overwhelm, and more confidence navigating both your inner world and external challenges. I understand that reaching out for support takes courage—especially if you’ve been carrying your pain in silence. If you’re feeling ready—or even just curious—about starting this journey, I invite you to reach out. You deserve to feel seen, supported, and empowered.
I use an attachment-based approach in therapy because it helps me understand and address the deep patterns of how my clients relate to others, to themselves, and to the world as a whole, which often stem from early relationship experiences. By creating a safe and secure therapeutic connection, I support clients in healing emotional wounds and developing healthier ways to manage their feelings and relationships.
Trauma-focused CBT is an evidence-based approach that helps clients process and make sense of traumatic experiences in a safe and structured way. It empowers clients to challenge unhelpful thoughts and develop coping skills to reduce trauma-related symptoms like anxiety and flashbacks. This approach promotes healing by helping clients regain control and build resilience after trauma.
I use a strength-based approach in therapy because it focuses on clients’ existing resources, resilience, and capabilities rather than just their problems. This perspective helps empower clients by building confidence and reinforcing their sense of agency. By highlighting what’s working well, we can foster hope and support meaningful, lasting change.
I also use an eclectic approach in therapy with an attachment- and strength-based foundation because it allows me to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, preferences, and goals. By drawing from a variety of therapeutic models, I can integrate the most effective techniques to support healing and growth. This flexibility helps me respond to the complexity of each client’s experience with a more personalized and holistic approach.
