I utilize a holistic approach for crisis counseling, as well as evidenced-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing/coaching, which facilitates my clients' ability to cope/function better with negative and self-defeating thoughts and behaviors. I firmly believe in providing a collaborative and supportive environment to maximize the therapeutic experience and identify what strengths and resources clients have to create meaningful change in their lives. For those who desire a Christian, Biblical approach, I also offer a faith-based perspective combined with psychological/systems theory I received my masters degree from Florida International University, and my B.A degree in psychology/pastoral/Biblical counseling from Southeastern College. I am a member of Phi Alpha and Alpha Chi honors societies respectively.

I have 10 years of experience working in different settings and populations. I have experience both in Mental Health and Substance Abuse disorders. I have worked the majority of my career with clients with chronic mental health illnesses and moderate to severe symptoms. I have vast experience in crisis intervention.
