LMHC, 5 years of experience
New to Grow
With five years of experience as a therapist, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals through meaningful and often life-changing parts of their journey. My work is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and deep respect for each person’s unique story. I enjoy working with clients who are navigating life transitions, experiencing emotional overwhelm, struggling with challenges, or seeking a deeper connection to themselves, others, or their purpose. Whether you’re feeling stuck, burnt out, or simply ready for change, I offer a supportive space where you can slow down, reflect, and reconnect with your inner strengths. I specialize in a person-centered approach, and integrate evidence-based practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support real, sustainable growth. I believe therapy is not about “fixing” you, but about helping you understand yourself more fully, align with your values, and make choices that feel authentic and empowering. The impact I aim to leave is more than symptom relief; it’s about helping you build resilience, clarity, and confidence that lasts beyond our sessions. I hope that you leave each conversation feeling more grounded, more seen, and more capable of creating the life you want.
In our first session together, you can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you are heard, respected, and supported exactly as you are. My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, which means I focus on building a genuine, trusting relationship where you feel safe to share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. We’ll take time to get to know each other, explore what brings you to counseling, and begin to understand your goals and hopes for therapy. There is no pressure to have everything figured out; this space is yours to explore whatever feels important. My role is to listen with empathy, offer reflections, and support your self-discovery and growth, trusting that you are the expert in your own life.
What often stands out in my work is the balance between deep empathy and practical tools. I offer a warm, person-centered space where clients feel truly seen and supported, while also integrating evidence-based methods from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support meaningful, lasting change. Clients often share that they feel deeply understood without judgment and empowered to take actionable steps toward their goals. My approach emphasizes self-awareness, emotional resilience, and alignment with personal values, helping clients not only manage distress but grow in confidence and clarity. Whether we’re exploring patterns of thought, learning to sit with discomfort, or identifying what truly matters to you, therapy is tailored to your pace, needs, and strengths.
I welcome anyone who is looking for a supportive space to navigate life’s challenges and move toward healing, growth, and emotional well-being. My goal is to walk alongside you as you learn to cope with the mental, emotional, and behavioral struggles that life can bring, while also highlighting the importance and value of caring for your mental health. In our work together, I offer not only education and practical tools, but also encouragement and compassion. Using evidence-based techniques, I help clients create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and I work with teens, adults, and couples to build resilience, self-awareness, and empowerment. I focus on depression, anxiety, ADHD, adjustment issues, relationships, low self-esteem, family conflict, domestic violence, and LGBTQ+ support. I use CBT, Acceptance Commitment, Person Centered and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailored to your unique needs.
My experience centers on building genuine therapeutic relationships, fostering client autonomy, and supporting personal growth. I focus on active listening, unconditional positive regard, and congruence to help clients access their inner resources and move toward self-acceptance and positive change.
My work focuses on helping clients clarify their values and commit to actions aligned with those values. I incorporate mindfulness strategies, cognitive defusion techniques, and values-based interventions to help clients create meaningful change, even in the presence of emotional discomfort.
My CBT approach is focused on increasing self-awareness, reducing distress, and empowering clients to make lasting changes by reshaping the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
