Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Florida, Tennessee and Maryland. I graduated with both a bachelors and masters degree in Social work from Florida International University and have more than 17 years of psychotherapy experience. I am a trauma therapist, trained in EMDR and hold specialized training in First Responder Trauma.

First session
In our first session together we will work through a standard assessment that will allow us to talk through many aspects of your life and open a natural dialogue of who you are and what you would like to work through in therapy.
Strengths
Having been trained in EMDR and specialized First Responder trauma training I have experience in helping patients of all ages work through anxiety and other debilitating responses to trauma to find peace in their every day lives.
Ideal clients
I enjoy helping adults of all ages work through traumas that have held them back from living a life free from worry and anxious thoughts. I am hopeful to work with clients that are looking to incorporate new coping strategies and identify behavior patterns that they would like to change while emphasizing their innate strengths and enhancing their support systems.
Treatment methods
EMDR
I am trained in EMDR and utilize EMDR combined with somatic processing to help patients work through past traumas.
Christian Counseling
As a Christian I can offer supportive encouragement from a Christian perspective during treatment.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize CBT to help patients understand the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, emotions and actions.
Motivational Interviewing
Trained in MI I utilize it as needed to help patients work through conflict.
