Hello, I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Florida. I received my Masters degree from Nova Southeastern University and have been practicing for 18 years. I help adults struggling with life transitions and relationships. My counseling style is non-judgmental, caring, compassionate, and a belief that you are capable of changing. I am here to help guide and support you through this journey of your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will begin with brief introductions, and then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This information will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with diverse populations for the past 18 years, I've developed a style of using evidence-based techniques to help you identify the root cause of your challenge. I feel giving you the tools you can use immediately to help you change is imperative.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with adults who are impacted by anxiety and/or depression in ways that affect their lives. Also, I am passionate about helping couples deal with conflict and communication issues. I believe your life can be different and I can show you how.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I work collaboratively with clients to identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors contributing to their distress. We develop practical strategies to change unhelpful patterns, enhance coping skills, and promote lasting emotional well-being by exploring the connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through structured sessions and homework assignments, clients learn to cultivate more adaptive thinking patterns and develop effective problem-solving skills to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience and clarity.

Couples Counseling

In couples counseling, I facilitate open communication and guide both partners in understanding each other's perspectives and needs. Together, we explore underlying issues, interaction patterns, and conflict areas within the relationship. By fostering empathy and teaching effective communication techniques, I help couples build stronger connections and develop practical solutions to overcome challenges. Through collaborative problem-solving and fostering a supportive environment, couples learn to deepen their bond, constructively resolve conflicts, and create a more fulfilling relationship.
