I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida. I specialize in supporting adults navigating various life transitions, which can result in feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, or depressed. Whether you're facing the excitement and challenges of moving to a new city, starting college, graduating, embarking on a new career path, or adjusting to other significant changes, I'm here to help.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will discuss your reason for starting (or returning to) therapy, your goals and prior experiences with therapy, what you feel like helps or doesn't help you, and start creating a plan that aligns with your personal goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I take a collaborative and client-centered approach to therapy, tailoring my techniques to meet your unique needs and goals. Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, stress management, identity exploration, or simply adjusting to a new phase of life, I'm committed to helping you achieve greater self-awareness and emotional well-being.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT treatment usually involves efforts to change thinking patterns. I have used CBT primarily to address symptoms of anxiety and depression. CBT can help with understanding distorted thinking and using problem-solving skills to cope with difficult situations.

Eclectic

Typically, I use an eclectic approach when working with clients. This means that I utilize more than one theoretical approach or set of techniques.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT teaches a person new ways of coping with anxiety, such as noticing it and being able to experience it without trying to control or avoid it. It also includes learning to re-engage in valued activities even if there are still feelings and a presence of anxiety.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT helps individuals to accept what occurs in their lives, while also learning how to change their life and unwanted behaviors.

Compassion Focused

Compassion Focused Therapy incorporates learning how to have compassion during interactions for both other and self.
