Greetings! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida and the owner/CEO of Breaking BHAD Counseling, LLC. I am a US Army veteran and graduate of Webster University with a Master of Arts in Counseling (Clinical Mental Health Track). I have been practicing in various mental health settings for six years, working with diverse adult populations from a wide demographic range. I am seriously passionate about helping people overcome challenges like addiction, anxiety, depression, adjustment to life after incarceration or going through pre-trial release/probation, and relationship issues.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we will establish a connection, here is where you’ll have an opportunity to share what barriers keep you feeling stuck, and we'll discuss the strategies and techniques used as we work together to create a treatment plan that is specific to your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths is my familiarity with the difficulties that many clients encounter as a result of trauma, incarceration, loss, dysfunctional relationships, and addiction. By connecting with clients on a deep level and not passing judgment, I can create an environment that is safe for healing and personal development. Every client gets effective therapy based on their own experiences and requirements because of my proficiency in combining several therapeutic methods.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

At Breaking BHAD Counseling, I use a combination of Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients overcome negative thought patterns and provide a supportive and understanding atmosphere. Choice Theory/Reality Therapy promotes personal responsibility and successful choice-making, whereas Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) assists individuals in embracing their feelings. Solution-focused therapy aims to help clients imagine and accomplish their goals by providing them with actionable, future-oriented strategies.
