Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I received my Masters from Palm Beach Atlantic University and have been practicing Christian counseling for over 30 years and licensed for 4 years. I help teens and adults with anxiety, depression, addictions and relationship issues transform their lives to produce lasting results. Additionally, I provide pre-marital counseling and assist clients through stage of life issues.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, the clients gets to interview me to determine if I am a good fit. Once this is determined, they can count on a listening ear, non-judgmental approach to identifying and collaborate to bring healing to their situation; and construction a plan that will measure their success.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel my greatest strength is intuitively guiding the session to determine the root causes. Then creating a successful plan to measure results. For my in-person clients, I use a white board to illustrate our talking points. This makes the session relatable.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have successfully used CBT to help clients manage and overcome unrelenting thoughts that produce self-doubt and destructive behaviors.

Couples Counseling

I specialize in couple counseling that identifies family dynamics using Genograms and various inventories to uncover hidden negative patterns that create disconnections within their relationships. I used an approach of seeing each party individually and then collectively to ensure all concerns are heard.

Family Therapy

I used Genogram and Family of Origin scales to identify family cultural disconnects; birth order is used to better understand where clients fit in the family dynamic.

Schema Therapy

Schema Inventories are used to identify deeps emotional gaps that have not been met that can cause a series of negative reactions. I further help clients to understand these gaps and create a path of freedom.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I used TF CBT to help clients process through the emotions of sexual abuse, violence, and end of life events.
