(he/him)
I've spent the last ten years accompanying people toward something better as an independently licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with adults who are ready to make real changes but aren't sure where to start. I'm relaxed, direct, and focused on making every session count. I also happen to think I'm pretty funny, so at least I have that going for me.
On our first session we'll get to know each other — formally and informally. My clients set the pace and the tone. We'll talk about your goals, your successes, and what brought you here. You're welcome to ask me anything about the process, my expectations, or what therapy with me actually looks like. By the end of our first session, we'll likely have some concrete goals to start working on immediately.
I meet clients where they are from day one — no rushing, no one-size-fits-all approach. I use practical examples and real-world language because therapy should feel relevant to your actual life, not just something that happens in a room. I also give clients small tasks and assignments between sessions, because growth doesn't stop when we hang up. I adapt my approach to fit you, not the other way around.
I work best with adults who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about where their life is headed. My ideal clients are motivated to make real changes but may not know where to start. I especially enjoy working with parents, young professionals, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and life's unexpected challenges. Whether you're dealing with family conflict, grief, career stress, or simply feeling like you've lost your sense of direction, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches — tailoring my style to what works best for you. I also happen to think I'm pretty funny, so I have that going for me! Healing doesn't have to be heavy ALL of the time.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is effective at identifying and adjusting thought patterns that lead to undesirable moods, behaviors, and emotions! The techniques in CBT are used throughout the therapy process.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy is useful when establishing a better connection with our emotions, how to identify and adjust certain emotional reactions to our triggers. Through DBT we learn how to cope and manage difficult emotional states that are no longer useful in our coping and our relationships!
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Person-Centered Therapy puts the client in total control; it allows clients to fully explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to can self-acceptance, learn better ways of managing our moods and outlook, and create a deeper sense of self-love and internal validation!
Attachment-based
Our attachment styles tend to have a lot of power and influence over the way we connect and relate to others, especially our close relationships. These attachment styles are a result of how we developed and maintained important relationships when we were very young. Exploring this part of our personality can help us better understand ourselves, what triggers us, and how to regulate our emotions when connecting with the people around us, especially in our intimate partnerships.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution Focused Brief Treatment can be an effective tool at isolating problem areas in our lives, our behaviors, and in our relationships and dedicating our time and energy on working towards solutions, rather than trying to unpack the sources of the problems directly. This method can be especially helpful when there are specific identifiable deficits in our lives that can benefit from immediate intervention!

Jeremiah is very easy to talk to because of his communication style. He is very open and he tends to ask questions in a way that encourages you to think about your responses deeper than surface level. He will not give you direction to fix a situation or problem, but he will guide you to find the answer within yourself. Most of us know what we need to do, but human nature makes us hesitate and the feelings that bind us to it holds us captive. Jeremiah gives you permission to make the changes.

Jeremiah does a great job of listening to understand and then offering insight into one’s own actions and thought processes.
