She/Her I work with adults individually in a virtual therapeutic settings. I have worked with those who struggle with depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, behavior issues, anger, life transitions & stress, trauma, and self-esteem, family dynamics, co-occurring disorders, and executive functioning. I received my Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and received my Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from the University of North Texas. I use a holistic approach with evidence-based therapies in an empathetic, individualized, and strength-based manner. I've been trained in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), cognitive behavioral therapy, suicide prevention (CBT-SP), zero suicide (CAMS & CALM). I enjoy helping create therapeutic goals and aiding your efforts to meet and exceed them. You can expect to take away practical skills, a sense of purpose, feeling validated and relieved knowing we can get through whatever obstacle life has thrown in your direction.
In our first session together, we’ll start with introductions and a history of what has been going on. We will then dive into the specific challenges and create a basic plan for us to work through in follow up sessions.
I strive for a comfortable and down to earth environment where I can provide a sounding board to gain insight and various perspectives.
I typically see adults ages 18+ and I very much enjoy working together through life stressors, times of adjustments and difficult emotions. I look forward to meeting y'all!
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past five years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
DBT is a type of talking therapy to specially help with intense emotions. It focuses on understanding and accepting difficult feelings and teaches coping skills for emotion regulation, tolerating distress, being and using mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. I've found this to be very helpful with most people in the last several years when talking about depression, anxiety, and other intense emotions that feels out of control.
Collaborative Management and Assessment of Suicidality (CAMS)
I've used CAMS with clients who have suffered with suicidal ideation; it is a therapeutic framework where the "drivers" to suicidal thoughts are discussed and focused on in a non judgmental space. Together, we will come up with a plan on how to move forward and alleviate symptoms.

I chose to book with this provider after seeing that she was highly rebooked, which gave me confidence going in. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect those expectations. During the session, I felt judged rather than supported, which made it difficult to open up. Instead of feeling safe and understood, I left feeling exposed and uncomfortable. Overall, the experience did not meet the standard of care I was hoping for.
