Hello and Welcome!
First, I want to thank you. It took a lot for you to seek a therapist in the first place. Just admitting to yourself that you're not feeling your best is difficult, but congratulations, you've made it past your first step! Asking for help can be hard for some people, so thank you for seeing something in me that makes you more comfortable taking your next step. Whatever brought you here, I want you to know that you are not alone and I will walk with you on this journey.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I grew up in a family of social workers which led me to the field. I grew up going to the nursing home my mom worked in as a geriatric social worker. Two of my mothers sisters were social workers and my great aunt was a therapist for delinquent teens. I have always had the instinct to help others and as I grew up I found that many people felt comfortable sharing things with me that they usually would say they never talked about. My amazement at the amount of traumatized people there were in my life turned into a fascination with the workings of the mind and body. My need to help others turned into a BSW, then an MSW, to an LCSW. Years went into study and licensing but still the subject does not bore me. I am excited to share what I have experienced and what I have learned while adapting the concepts to help others in the specific ways they need.
We are all continuously learning and growing. I am excited to learn and grow with you as we discover how we will work best in the therapeutic environment together.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Co-Owner of Serene Therapy Solutions LLC with over five years of experience supporting individuals through a range of emotional and life challenges. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and solution-focused strategies, I tailor each session to align with your unique needs and goals. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you build practical tools for lasting change.
How may I support you? Let’s work together toward healing, clarity, and recovery.

I also support teens in developing healthy coping skills, building resilience, and managing academic, social, and emotional challenges.

I have a Masters Degree in Social Work and am also a Master Reiki Therapist, Emotional Freedom Technique Practioner (EFT) and Advanced Level Intergrated Energy Therapist (IET) . Working with holistic methods in addition to traditional therapeutic modalities has been very transformational for many of my clients. Reiki, IET, sound and crystal healing along with aromatherapy in addition to traditional modalities allow my clients to heal on another level.
I believe therapy is an opportunity to provide a safe place for individuals to break free of old ideas, patterns and wounds that are restricting their happiness and contentment. I believe therapy can be empowering by providing new ways for coping and dealing with life’s stressors. Clients often describe me as easy to talk to, down to earth and compassionate. I have a great sense of humor and an open mind which allows me to quickly connect with others and create a safe therapeutic environment. My natural positive energy helps my clients improve their lives by developing better cognitive and emotional skills.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC) and have a PhD in Psychology. I have over 14 years of experience working in private practice with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have also worked as a school counselor for 24 years.
I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, life transitions, parenting issues, coping with grief and loss, abuse/domestic violence, and anger management. I completed extensive research for my dissertation in the areas of grief and the positive and negative effects of support systems. Outside of behavioral health care and in my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family.
Hi, I'm Jacob. I specialize in helping adults heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where we can work together to understand what you're carrying, build on your strengths, and help you move toward lasting healing.
My passion for this work comes from my own life experiences. As a young person, I lived through significant trauma, including abuse and profound loss. Like many people, I searched for ways to cope before I had healthy support. My healing journey began when I started serving others, which eventually led me to become an EMDR therapist. Experiencing EMDR for myself transformed the way I understood healing and inspired me to pursue advanced training and certification.
Today, I use EMDR alongside a client-centered approach, always meeting you where you are. I believe healing is possible, even when it doesn't feel that way right now. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels comfortable while helping you process difficult experiences, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful change in your life.
I work with women who feel everything deeply—the overthinkers, the emotionally sensitive, and those carrying more than others realize. Many of my clients appear strong and capable on the outside while struggling internally with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, OCD, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. Using evidence-based therapy, I help clients better understand themselves, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I’m Emma Newman, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in perinatal and postpartum mental health, women’s health, trauma, personality and mood disorders, and coping skills.
My journey into therapy began through my work in mental health treatment, where I saw firsthand the transformative impact that compassionate support and evidence-based interventions can have on individuals navigating life’s challenges. These experiences inspired me to pursue specialized training in trauma, personality disorders, mood disorders, women’s mental health, and other areas of emotional well-being.
My approach is compassionate, empathetic, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I believe therapy is a collaborative process—one that can help you better understand yourself, navigate difficult experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and create a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.
Whether you’re navigating pregnancy, postpartum changes, women’s health concerns, trauma, mood or personality disorders, or simply struggling to cope with life’s challenges, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m here to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’m here to support you along the way.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over ten years of mental health experience. I currently work with clients age 18 and older. What I’ve come to know and understand is that therapy is a profoundly personal process. You're here for a reason. The right fit can change the outcome. Maybe I can help.
Whether it's the same fight on repeat, a habit you can't shake, a loss, or just not feeling like yourself, I invite you to keep reading to learn more about me and my approach.
Maybe your life is working in most of the ways that count—work, relationships, the things you care about—but something keeps getting in the way. The same argument. Anxiety that doesn't match the situation. Shutting down when someone gets close, or blowing up and regretting it later. You might understand exactly what you're doing and still do it anyway. Or maybe something happened, like an affair coming to light, a relationship ending, or losing someone, and the way you've always handled things isn't working anymore.
Therapy with me has direction. We'll know what we're working toward and check in regularly on what's changing and what's still getting in the way. What we work on in session should carry into your life, whether that means noticing a pattern, trying a different response, or having a conversation you've been avoiding.
You'll know you're making progress when you catch a familiar pattern sooner, understand what's happening inside you instead of just reacting, stay steadier in hard conversations, set boundaries and make decisions with less second-guessing, recover from setbacks faster, and handle things on your own that you used to need help with.
Progress doesn't mean you'll never feel anxious, angry, or stuck again. It means you're better at handling it yourself. As that becomes consistent, we'll space sessions out and eventually wrap up. The goal is for you to need me less over time.
Welcome, and thank you for taking the first step toward your healing journey.

In working with these populations, I have gained vast experience in family dynamics and feel it is important to focus on the whole system, especially when a child is involved. I have also been trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and I feel many adults and adolescents could greatly benefit from learning these skills. God is our ultimate counselor and His word is referenced and prayed from as part of the healing process.

The great poet Rumi wrote "out beyond ideas of wrong-doing and right-doing, there is a field. I'll meet you there." That field is a space where calm, love and forgiveness exist. There is no judgement, only acceptance here. And in that soul space you are free to find those fragments of you that are lost, and begin to piece them back together.
I'm licensed in both Florida and Michigan. As a licensed clinical therapist and licensed substance abuse counselor, I have experience running very powerful substance abuse and co-occurring groups. Prior to that, I worked as a social worker in Flint, Michigan for many years as a therapist, caseworker and in crisis intervention. My experiences have given me such a rich experience and exposure to the many factors that contribute to our personal mental health and well-being. I've been fortunate to work with people in their homes, in the community, with their families as well as the private practice setting which have given me a much richer experience than just an of an office setting alone.
