New to Grow
Hi! I’m Lauren, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about creating a safe and supportive space for growth and healing. My style is warm, approachable, and collaborative—I believe therapy should feel like a partnership where you are heard and empowered. I specialize in working with women and the LGBTQIA+ community, using a strengths-based, person-centered, eclectic, and gender-affirming approach. Whether you’re navigating stress, anxiety, relationships, or major life transitions, my goal is to help you build confidence, find balance, and move forward with clarity and resilience.
Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll start by going over some basics—paperwork, confidentiality, and what therapy looks like with me—so you’ll know exactly what to expect moving forward. From there, I’ll invite you to share what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re facing, and what goals you’d like to work toward. I’ll ask questions to better understand your history, strengths, and current support systems, but there’s no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with. This session is also your opportunity to get a feel for my style and see if it feels like a good fit.
Clients often tell me they feel truly seen, heard, and accepted in our sessions. I create a safe, affirming space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment. My greatest strengths are my ability to build strong, authentic connections, ask thoughtful questions that spark insight, and offer tools that are both practical and empowering. Clients often notice that I balance warmth and compassion with a structured, solution-focused style. The result is therapy that not only helps you process your story but also gives you concrete skills to manage challenges, improve relationships, and create meaningful change in your life.
Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to do it alone. I work with adults who are seeking a safe, affirming, and compassionate space to navigate life’s challenges. My passion is supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and women facing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship stress, identity exploration, life transitions, and self-esteem struggles.
I use an eclectic approach that integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered, and strengths-based practices. My work is gender-affirming and tailored to meet each client where they are, focusing on their unique experiences and values. I believe in empowering clients by drawing on their strengths while also offering practical tools and strategies for lasting change.
