In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will get to know each other. You would share your present challenges and goals you want to achieve while in therapy. Theres no judgement or expectation. Trusting and safe environment is the foundation for great results and progress.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Imagine you are driving a car on a highway, you are in the driver's seat, NOT passenger. You check rear view mirror (represents the past) when needed, however you are looking forward on a road (represents future). Despite that you are in the present which is the most important part. You are in control of your car with the help of rear view and side mirrors and controlling the speed. This is my way to shortly describe my approach and vision through metaphoric example and i use many of them in my sessions.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

During the sessions i will be helping you to identify and change negative and unhelpful thoughts and patterns to improve your emotional state and behaviors. It operates on the principle that your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected and influence each other. I strongly believe in collaboration during therapy to help you learn not only how to recognize distorted thinking but challenge these thoughts, which leads to more realistic and helpful perspectives. Ultimately, the approach helps you develop new ways of behaving and coping with daily life and overall improving its quality.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

While working and individuals and couples, we will be focusing on changing negative interaction patterns rooted in fears and needs. EFT is a collaborative and validating process that creates a healthy emotional experiences by guiding clients to access, express, and understand their underlying emotions
