Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey, South Carolina, and Florida. I received my Master of Social Work from Kean University and have been practicing for 14 plus years. I am the founder and owner of Therapeutically Fit Counseling, LLC. I help children, adolescents, and adults to become the best version of themselves by providing quality and reliable mental, emotional, and behavioral health services to help you navigate through difficult times, improve your quality of life, and give you the tools you need to manage on your own. My mission is to help heal, empower, and evolve individuals and families by providing quality and culturally competent psychotherapy that transforms and renews your mind and body that leaves you therapeutically fit.
As a licensed mental health counselor who conducts sessions in English, I’ve had the privilege of supporting a diverse range of clients, each with their own story and set of challenges. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where individuals can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors without judgment.
I tailor my therapeutic approach to each person’s unique needs, using interventions that foster insight, resilience, and meaningful growth. It’s an honor to walk alongside my clients as they navigate life’s complexities, and witnessing their strength and transformation continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of my work!
I don’t believe therapy should be some boring clinical experience that you dread attending. I aim at creating a light hearted space for my clients to face whatever has brought them to my door.
(Well technically I don’t have a door since its telehealth but you know what I mean)
I talk so casually during sessions that you’ll feel like we’ve met before. I’ll ask you about what’s been going on and how you’re experiencing it. I’ll ask you how your much-needed date night went this past weekend, or how far you made it into that book you wanted to read. I sincerely want to know how you’ve been doing. I’m not afraid to talk about the hard or awkward stuff, and I’m also not afraid to let you know when you’re limiting yourself.
Our therapy is a judgment free zone. You don’t judge my cats who sometimes make an appearance and I won’t judge you.
I will put in the time and show up and if you will do the same great things can happen!
Some of you may be here because you are going through something that is very painful and my idea of ‘fun’ therapy may not seem to fit. I encourage you to give it a chance. We will have the difficult conversations and cry the tears but perhaps my approach will make all of that a little more bearable.
Greetings! I have been supporting individuals, families, and couples with various mental health challenges as a licensed clinical social worker, social work intern, and therapist for more than 13 years. My clients appreciate my practical approach to help them get the results that they want to see in their life, work, and relationships. I can help you in the areas of work, family, personal identity, relationships, and much more.
Welcome! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Palm Beach Florida. I received my Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in 2002 and have been working in the mental health field since then. I have over 20 years of clinical experience and I have worked in various settings, in multicultural environments and basically all ages. I am Hispanic and fluent in Spanish.
Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relational betrayal, or a major life transition you don’t have to process these emotions alone.
Treating behavior alone doesn't heal the root cause because our bodies carry the stories our minds struggle to process. In our sessions, we slow down. I will guide you to notice where emotions are being held in your body, help you name them, and identify the 'story' and needs behind that feeling. Together, we learn to honor those needs, providing the relief and self-trust that talk therapy alone often misses.
My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my desire to help people heal beneath the surface and reclaim their sense of identity and authentic self.
My approach to therapy is integrative and person-centered, meaning I blend evidence-based modalities like CBT, ACT, and Narrative therapy based on your unique needs. However, the core of my work is a somatic, 'bottom-up' approach. This is based on the belief that emotions and trauma are stored in the body and that treating behavior alone doesn't heal the root cause.
The approaches used in session, help clients to manage overwhelming emotions, challenge negative thought patterns, and release the stress their bodies hold onto after trauma. These methods help clients find relief from anxiety, depression, grief, and relational betrayal in ways that last beyond the therapy room.

Fulfilling our potential is a lifelong journey of becoming more at peace with ourselves, deepening the intimacy in our relationships, being more authentically human, and feeling more alive each day. Along the way, certain challenges arise to cause us distress or confusion. Such moments can make us feel held back, afraid, or unsure of where to go from here. But these moments can also be the points of growth and healing from which we renew ourselves in ways we did not think possible.
It is a great privilege helping men and women in their search to improve their relationship with themselves and others, to lessen the burden of emotional pain, to experience freedom from addictions, or to embark on new life challenges - to find the hope and courage needed to take those important next steps.
Hello there, I wish to greet you as you walk the path for a kinder tomorrow & self-actualization. Oftentimes, tomorrows can be overwhelming; filled with both potentials and uncertainty. I view tomorrows as a garden that needs tending in the present so the most lush potentials can grow. Gardens require emotional work that you may be unable to do alone for any number of reasons. This is why I offer my assistance. Not as a head gardener telling you what to do, or staff blindly following you, but as a comforting presence at your side to help you walk through your path and plants seeds for your desired tomorrows.
My areas of expertise include emotional difficulties, depressive disorders, LGBTQIA+ issues, and personal growth/development. While these are the areas of expertise for myself, I maintain that therapy is not a “one way street” so to speak. I, as your therapist, walk with you to provide support and tools as you move towards your ideal self.
I believe that all people deserve tomorrows that are brighter than their todays, and I hope I can assist you on that first step in planting your better tomorrow. For all my clients, I wish to one day sit with them in the beautiful garden they have created. To enjoy the fruits of their success, and perhaps share a lovely cup of tea with them. Let's begin your journey!

Feeling stuck and frustrated? Struggling to deal with the loss of a loved one? Trying to find balance in your life while coping with chronic illness? Expecting an upcoming change? Not able to sleep or stay on top of things in your life? I am here to help!
Therapy cannot be effective if we are not meeting your specific needs and goals. I want to meet you where you are and together identify a path forward. I want to understand you, your values, and your background while also giving you solution-focused interventions you can utilize to make changes. If talking it through without homework is the way you want to go, that is fine too! We are all capable of change and moving forward but sometimes it is the dialogues in our head, relationships, or other factors that are getting in our way. Therapy is a great place to work through those and be more connected with what you value in your life. Let's work together!

Hello! I’m so happy you’re here! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana in 2020. I have 6 years of experience working in several levels of care including residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient. I mostly work with teenagers and young adults, and my main areas of expertise are eating disorders, substance abuse, and anxiety.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, offering both in-person and telehealth therapy. I work with adults who have been carrying a lot for a long time and are realizing it may finally be time to prioritize their own well-being.
I specialize in working with trauma survivors, people experiencing depression and anxiety, and individuals in recovery from addiction. My clinical background includes working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns, and people living with chronic mental illness. These experiences have shaped a grounded, trauma-informed approach that respects the complexity of what people have lived through and the ways they learned to survive it.
Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in old patterns, or affected by experiences from the past that continue to show up in their relationships and daily lives. Some have spent years putting other people’s needs ahead of their own or simply doing what they needed to do to get through difficult circumstances.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and respectful of your pace. Therapy with me focuses on helping you find relief from emotional pain and anxiety while developing greater self-understanding and a sense of safety that allows deeper healing to occur. Together, we work toward a life that feels steadier, more meaningful, and more authentically your own.

Hi!! HOLA! I am Maria Isabel Montalvo, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. I know it can be difficult to make the decision to start therapy or to choose the "right"counselor for you. I feel honored you stopped by to see if we might be a good fit together.
Throughout my years of practice I've worked mainly with people who have dealt with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and Personality Disorders among other mental conditions. I enjoy talking to my clients and listening to their struggles, fears, dreams and goals ; but furthermore, to work on the solutions. I consider my job as a Counselor my calling in life and I am deeply invested in my clients well being.
I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 12 years of experience supporting young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish, creating a space where clients can express themselves comfortably and authentically. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and a strong foundation in compassion and self-compassion. I help clients understand their patterns, build practical coping skills, and learn to navigate both the challenges they can change and the ones they cannot. My goal is to help you feel more in control, more confident, and better equipped to move forward.
