(she/her)
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University in 2017, followed by my Master and Doctorate in Social Work from Barry University in 2018 and 2024, respectively. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2020 and have been practicing for 8 years. Clients often describe me as compassionate, attentive, and nonjudgmental. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are and creating a safe, collaborative space where you can openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges. I take a flexible, individualized approach to therapy, blending evidence-based techniques with practical strategies tailored to your unique needs and goals. My focus is on helping you build self-awareness, develop coping skills, and strengthen resilience, all while honoring your pace and personal journey. I strive to make sessions a supportive and empowering experience, where you feel heard, understood, and encouraged to grow. I am also flexible with scheduling—if you don’t see a time that works for you, please reach out, and I will do my best to accommodate. Ultimately, my goal is to help you navigate life’s challenges with confidence and create meaningful change that feels authentic to you.
Our first session will focus on creating safety, collaboration, and setting meaningful goals. During this session, I will take the time to get to know you, understand your unique experiences, and learn what brought you to therapy. We will work together to identify your priorities, explore your current challenges, and discuss what you hope to achieve in therapy. This session is designed to help you feel comfortable, supported, and empowered to engage in the therapeutic process at your own pace. By the end, we will have a shared understanding of your goals and a plan for how to begin moving toward meaningful change.
I take a trauma-informed, holistic approach to therapy, drawing from mindfulness-based practices, cognitive-behavioral therapy, EMDR, and strength-based strategies, while incorporating psychoeducation when helpful. I work with individuals, tailoring treatment to your unique needs and goals. My focus is on supporting the mind, body, and spirit as a whole—helping clients deepen self-awareness, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change in your life.
I’m best positioned to support individuals who feel stuck in patterns they understand but struggle to change—especially those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients are insightful and self-aware, yet find that in moments of stress, their reactions feel automatic or difficult to control. They may experience overthinking, heightened sensitivity, or a persistent sense of overwhelm, and are looking for a way to feel more grounded, steady, and in control of their responses. I work well with clients who are open to exploring both the emotional and physiological aspects of their experiences. This includes individuals interested in understanding how their nervous system, past experiences, and current coping patterns all interact. My clients are often motivated for change, even if they feel unsure where to start, and are seeking practical tools alongside deeper insight. Together, we focus on building emotional regulation, increasing self-awareness, improving communication and relationships, and developing coping strategies that feel sustainable and personalized. My approach is especially helpful for those who want therapy to feel collaborative, structured when needed, and rooted in real, applicable change—not just insight, but transformation.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness-based techniques, including guided exercises and breathwork, to help clients increase self-awareness, manage stress, and regulate emotions. These practices support noticing thoughts and feelings without judgment and responding more intentionally to challenges.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thoughts, develop healthier behaviors, and improve coping strategies. I also support clients in enhancing their communication skills, expressing themselves effectively, and building stronger, more positive relationships.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients identify their goals and leverage their existing strengths and resources. By focusing on solutions rather than problems, I guide clients in recognizing what is already working in their lives, exploring small, achievable steps toward change, and building practical strategies to reach their desired outcomes efficiently.
EMDR
I have training and clinical experience utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help clients process and resolve distressing life experiences, traumatic memories, and negative self-beliefs. My approach integrates EMDR within a trauma-informed and client-centered framework, emphasizing safety, stabilization, and emotional regulation before reprocessing. I use EMDR to target core memories that contribute to present-day symptoms such as anxiety, depression, avoidance, and emotional reactivity. Throughout the process, I incorporate mindfulness-based grounding techniques and somatic awareness to help clients remain present and engaged. I tailor EMDR protocols to meet each client’s readiness and individual goals, combining it with complementary interventions—such as cognitive restructuring, resource development, and self-compassion practices—to support adaptive resolution and promote long-term healing and resilience.
