New to Grow
Clients often describe me as compassionate, attentive, and nonjudgmental. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are and creating a safe, collaborative space where you can openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges. I take a flexible, individualized approach to therapy, blending evidence-based techniques with practical strategies tailored to your unique needs and goals. My focus is on helping you build self-awareness, develop coping skills, and strengthen resilience, all while honoring your pace and personal journey. I strive to make sessions a supportive and empowering experience, where you feel heard, understood, and encouraged to grow. I am also flexible with scheduling—if you don’t see a time that works for you, please reach out, and I will do my best to accommodate. Ultimately, my goal is to help you navigate life’s challenges with confidence and create meaningful change that feels authentic to you.
Our first session will focus on creating safety, collaboration, and setting meaningful goals. During this session, I will take the time to get to know you, understand your unique experiences, and learn what brought you to therapy. We will work together to identify your priorities, explore your current challenges, and discuss what you hope to achieve in therapy. This session is designed to help you feel comfortable, supported, and empowered to engage in the therapeutic process at your own pace. By the end, we will have a shared understanding of your goals and a plan for how to begin moving toward meaningful change.
I take a trauma-informed, holistic approach to therapy, drawing from mindfulness-based practices, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and strength-based strategies, while incorporating psychoeducation when helpful. I work with both individuals and couples, tailoring treatment to their unique needs and goals. My focus is on supporting the mind, body, and spirit as a whole—helping clients deepen self-awareness, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
I have a wide range of experience working with individuals across different backgrounds and life stages. If you are over 18 and navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, anger, or relationship difficulties, therapy can provide the support you deserve. You may be struggling to find your place in the world, feeling the weight of fear of abandonment, or unsure how to cope with health or aging concerns. I also specialize in supporting individuals living with dementia and family members who are caring for loved ones with cognitive decline.
I use mindfulness-based techniques, including guided exercises and breathwork, to help clients increase self-awareness, manage stress, and regulate emotions. These practices support noticing thoughts and feelings without judgment and responding more intentionally to challenges.
I use CBT to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thoughts, develop healthier behaviors, and improve coping strategies. I also support clients in enhancing their communication skills, expressing themselves effectively, and building stronger, more positive relationships.
I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients identify their goals and leverage their existing strengths and resources. By focusing on solutions rather than problems, I guide clients in recognizing what is already working in their lives, exploring small, achievable steps toward change, and building practical strategies to reach their desired outcomes efficiently.
