(she/her)
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Qualified Supervisor (QS) in the state of Florida, with over 15 years of experience providing counseling services to individuals from diverse backgrounds. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and a Master’s in Theological Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. I am bilingual in English and Haitian Creole, enabling me to communicate effectively with clients in both languages. I help adults navigate parenting challenges, emotional concerns, anxiety, and life transitions through compassionate, culturally responsive, and non-judgmental care. I also support teens in developing healthy coping skills, building resilience, and managing academic, social, and emotional challenges. For clients seeking a faith-based integrated approach, I combine evidence-based therapy with biblical principles to support the healing and growth of the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, growth, and transformation. Let’s take the next step together.
In our first session, I will create a warm, supportive, and respectful environment where you feel safe and comfortable sharing your experiences. We will spend time getting to know one another, and I will ask thoughtful questions to better understand what brings you to therapy, the challenges you are facing, your strengths, and your goals. Together, we will use this information to develop a plan that supports your needs and helps you move toward meaningful growth and well-being. By the end of our session, you can expect to feel heard, supported, encouraged, and more confident about the path ahead.
One of my greatest strengths is helping clients turn insight into meaningful change. While self-awareness is an important part of the therapeutic process, lasting growth and healing happen when we begin applying what we learn in our everyday lives. My goal is to help clients gain clarity, build on their strengths, and develop practical tools that empower them to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience. Central to my approach is seeing each client as a whole person, not just focusing on the concern that brings them to therapy. I recognize that each person is shaped by their relationships, family experiences, culture, values, and life transitions. That is why I take an individualized, strength-based approach that honors each client’s unique needs, goals, and lived experiences. Another strength I bring to the therapy environment is cultural awareness and sensitivity. As a bilingual therapist fluent in English and Haitian Creole, I understand how deeply culture can shape identity, relationships, and even the decision to seek support. Having worked with diverse cultural backgrounds, I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I also aim to provide care that honors their background and supports their healing and growth. For clients seeking a Christian faith-based approach, I thoughtfully integrate evidence-based therapeutic practices with Biblical principles and Scripture, recognizing that true healing touches the mind, body, and spirit. I hope to support each client’s growth in a way that honors their faith, values, and personal goals while helping them feel seen, encouraged, and grounded along the way.
When Life Feels Overwhelming, You Don’t Have to Navigate It Alone Even strong and capable people can face seasons that feel overwhelming. You may find yourself emotionally exhausted, stuck, discouraged, or uncertain about what comes next. When life’s challenges begin to feel heavier than they once did, having support can make all the difference. I work with teens, young adults, adults, and families navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, and the impact of difficult experiences. I provide a supportive and collaborative space where you can process difficult experiences, gain clarity, develop effective strategies for navigating life’s challenges, and move forward with greater confidence and hope. With over 20 years of experience as a social worker, I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and grounding techniques, to help clients build on their strengths and foster healing, growth, and lasting change. For clients who find strength, hope, and healing through their Christian faith, I offer the option to integrate Christian principles, prayer, and Scripture into our therapy sessions to support emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being.
