I am an LMHC therapist, public speaker, community organizer, social and environmental activist, and have been listening for decades. My Master of Clinical Psychotherapy, 2013 came from the University of North Florida. I experienced a Clinical Pastoral Education, in deep listening. I worked in the Talk program at Wounded the warriors talked; I listened.
Trauma Supportive Therapy is used to safely address, as slowly as need be, the pain of the past that keeps coming to trip your defenses in the present at all the wrong moments. I can be that supporting presence who will help sort it out by listening, sincerely hearing you, reflecting the depth of your feelings back to you. I practice the therapy of defining personal meaning, so, together we will think about your options, planning, purpose, and goals for living a meaningful life without being afraid of tripping over your past or yourself.
I practice person centered therapy by meeting you where you are. I strive to be culturally sensitive, non-prejudicial and use strength-based therapy as a jump point, truly believing I am the guide for you, but you are the treasures and wisdom keeper. Of all the reasons people come to therapy: anger, guilt, anxiety, changes, transitions, depression, trauma, jealousy, and “it is just not working anymore”, the extra burden of race and racism is more than just a nuance to be nodded at in therapy. I will view race as central to all the other pieces, when it is central to you.
I am inclusive, secular, competent, affirming, and non-judgmental. I have worked with people in transition, people who are very much defined, “but things got complicated”, people in the communities of LGBTQA, Polyamory, Kink, non-gendered. Each are safe and welcome here.

My name is Kristin and I am a licensed mental health counselor with four years of experience helping young adults/adults to navigate life's challenges! Here, you'll have a space to be completely you - to explore your feelings, build coping skills, and work toward meaningful change.
I specialize in self-esteem, navigating peer/social relationships, and life transitions, along with anxiety, ADHD, and the social challenges frequently associated with autism spectrum. I often use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to tailor sessions to each client's unique needs and promote meaningful connection and change. Together, we can build balance and clarity!
Hi, I’m Dr. Samuel, a mental health professional here to support you as you move toward healing, growth, and meaningful change. If you’re feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, stuck, navigating relationship stress, ADHD symptoms, or major life transitions, this is a space where you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach grounded in Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We’ll work together to understand what’s happening, identify what’s already working, and build practical tools that help you manage emotions, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and create more balance in your life.
Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you, you’re not broken. It’s about creating a safe space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward in a way that feels aligned and steady.
When you’re ready, I’m here to walk alongside you.
Hi, I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor passionate about helping teens, young adults, and neurodivergent individuals better understand themselves while building emotional resilience, confidence, and self-compassion. I support clients navigating anxiety, emotional sensitivity, perfectionism, shame, social difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, chronic illness, and life transitions.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth, blending evidence-based techniques with genuine connection so clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change. I strive to create a space where clients can explore their emotions without judgment while developing practical tools to navigate everyday life with greater confidence and balance.
Painful experiences often lead people to develop protective strategies to manage overwhelming emotions. These strategies may appear as perfectionism, emotional avoidance, anger toward loved ones, or repeated involvement in unhealthy relationships. While they can offer temporary relief, they often create disconnection from oneself and others, contributing to feelings of loneliness, shame, anxiety, and depression.
I am dedicated to helping individuals strengthen their sense of self worth and process traumatic experiences that contribute to insecure attachment and unhelpful patterns. I believe that although emotional wounds often occur within relationships, healing also takes place through safe and supportive connection. With compassion, courage, and a willingness to explore difficult experiences, meaningful and lasting change is possible. Healing can happen, and there is always hope.

I am a student of life with a goal of becoming a kind, compassionate, authentic individual able to keep my cool in the worst situations. I have a Master's degree in Mental Health and Rehabilitation from University of South Florida. I have experience working with issues of trauma, abuse, violence, hurt, loss, rage and confusion, to name a few. I offer frank, non-judgmental feedback to help my client and client couples create the life and approach that best expresses their integrity.
I'm Juan Carlos Martell, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and the founder of Psych Life Incorporated. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation — not a clinical evaluation. When you sit with me, you're not a diagnosis or a case file. You're a person navigating something difficult, and you deserve to be met with warmth, honesty, and genuine understanding.
My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Existential Therapy to help you work through what's weighing you down while reconnecting with what actually matters to you. CBT gives you practical, evidence-based tools to shift the thought patterns keeping you stuck. Existential therapy invites us to go deeper, exploring questions about identity, purpose, and the kind of life you truly want to build. Together, they create change that's both practical and meaningful.
I work with adults and teens in navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-doubt, and the quiet question so many of us carry: "Is this really the life I want?" Sessions with me are warm, direct, and free of jargon. You'll leave with tools you can actually use — not just insight, but real strategies for your everyday life.
Outside the therapy room, I'm a published author of The Adventures of Kevin and Friends, a children's mental health book series designed to help families talk openly about emotions like anxiety, depression, and bullying. I'm also the creator of PsychLife on Instagram, where I've spent years making psychology accessible to people who never thought therapy was "for them," and the founder of MindfulPractice, an upcoming mental health app rooted in CBT, ACT, and mindfulness. Everything I do comes back to one mission: making mental health real, relatable, and within reach. You don't have to figure it out alone. Be the artist of your own life.
I specialize in supporting clients dealing with anxiety, life transitions, and grief, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. As a bilingual therapist, I especially enjoy working with individuals from Hispanic backgrounds, women, teens, and those seeking Christian counseling that integrates faith into the healing process. My goal is to walk alongside clients as they build resilience, find clarity, and move toward emotional and personal growth.
My journey into therapy began with a desire to help the hurting individuals I worked with in a group home, and a genuine passion for helping others find strength through life’s most difficult moments. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people facing a wide range of challenges—experiences that have shown me just how powerful and transformative therapy can be. These moments have only deepened my commitment to walking alongside others on their path to healing. I’m continually inspired by the belief that every person holds the capacity for growth, resilience, and change. We can change and heal. Sometimes we just need a little help along the way. I treat adults age 18 and up.

Hi! My name is Shalom Adler ,and I am excited to be a part of the Grow Therapy team. We all want to live a meaningful and stress-free life, and while I cannot guarantee that you will not experience stress (we all do), I can help you navigate and cope with all that life throws at you. As the great psychiatrist Viktor Frankl says, “There is nothing in the world … that would so effectively help one to survive even the worst conditions as the knowledge that there is a meaning in one's life.”
I have over thirty years of experience in helping, guiding and counseling individuals, couples and families. I treat everyone the way I would like to be treated, with respect, compassion, dignity and empathy. I have faced my own mental health challenges over the years, and this gives me a unique perspective that will help me help you. I will meet you where you are and evaluate your strengths and needs. We will work collaboratively to achieve your goals and aspirations.
Hi! I am Stephanie, a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed therapist based in FL. I specialize in trauma treatment, anxiety and life transitions. I have extensive experience working with adolescents, young adults, and millennials. In the last 6 years, I have also worked alongside a diverse adult population supporting them through their healing journey. I provide culturally competent services by meeting clients where they are personally and emotionally. I believe in the importance of a strong therapeutic alliance where clients actively collaborate in their treatment. I have worked with a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to, interpersonal problems, racial/ethnic issues, family issues, adjustment disorder, trauma, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
Do you feel overwhelmed these days? Are you constantly trying to strike a balance between the demands of work and parenting or co-parenting, while also managing your health, housework, and perhaps other demands? In your family, does the caretaking always fall to you? Are you experiencing depression and anxiety in reaction to either a past trauma and/or burnout from stress? I work with women who are experiencing what I like to call "multiple-role fatigue". I have experience in treating depression, anxiety, and trauma-related stress disorders common to women who face an ever-mounting load of responsibilities in a complex society, where being a mother or a caretaker often comes with diverse challenges and responsibilities. I also like to work with clients on their recovery from trauma. With this in mind, I incorporate various treatment modalities, where healing and recovery can take place through a combination of compassionate conversation, active listening, homework assignments journaling, mindfulness, self-reflection, cognitive behavior therapy, grief counseling, boundary setting and trauma-informed care. I also offer a faith-based support, where clients seeking a Christian approach are welcome.
I like to form a supportive alliance with caregivers to help them navigate the demands of parenting a child or children with higher needs. I focus on parental needs, and I work with clients using evidence-based techniques to empower them to achieve balance and experience lasting well-being. For parents, I'm a big advocate of self-care, and I help my clients learn to nurture themselves in a sustainable way to avoid burnout. I also believe that parents need to feel seen and heard, and the stress of parenting cannot be overemphasized. Forming a partnership with parents, giving them a forum in which they feel consistently supported in a compassionate and non-judgmental way, therefore, is one of my top priorities as a therapist.
You DESERVE to Re-SET, To Re-FUEL, To Re-CHARGE. And then TAKE FLIGHT! Since entering the field of therapy I have learned to ascribe to the adage “all behavior has meaning.” Yes, ALL behavior. A deep curiosity for why we all act and think the way we do coupled with my own life’s challenges and experiences has led me to a place of compassion for not only my own life choices but compassion for others. Our thoughts lead to feelings, which leads to action. We are not always proud of our actions. As a woman, mother, wife, and veteran I know all too well the shame that comes with our personal choices and behaviors. I also know there is also a fear of JUDGEMENT when it comes to considering therapy. This is a no-judgement zone and if you are seeking a different feeling and action in your life then you have landed at the right place!
My name is Flemens Casimir, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with six years of experience providing counseling services to individuals from diverse backgrounds and demographics. In addition to my work in general mental health, I also have extensive experience in substance abuse treatment, supporting clients who struggle with addiction and co-occurring disorders. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is enhancing my ability to support clients in addressing trauma that often contributes to ongoing mental health and substance use challenges.
My therapeutic philosophy emphasizes meeting clients where they are in their current stage of life. I approach counseling with authenticity, empathy, and a commitment to being nonjudgmental, because I believe that when someone seeks mental health support, the last thing they should encounter is judgment. My goal is to create a safe and collaborative environment where clients feel empowered and respected as they work toward healing and growth.

Hi, I’m Kadie. I’m a licensed mental health therapist supporting individuals who may be navigating symptoms of anxiety, depression, burnout, overwhelm, life transitions, communication challenges, self-esteem, and emotion regulation difficulties. I also have extensive experience working with and supporting neurodivergent individuals (including Autism, ADHD, and AuDHD). I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can deepen your self-understanding and build practical tools to manage emotions, improve relationships, and feel more in control of your life. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based. You set the direction, and I provide guidance, insight, and support to help you create meaningful, lasting growth.
You might look like you’re holding it all together—but inside, it feels exhausting.
Maybe you overthink everything, second-guess yourself, or need reassurance just to feel okay. You say “yes” when you want to say “no,” struggle with procrastination, and feel stuck comparing yourself to others—especially on social media. Deep down, there’s a sense of not feeling “enough.”
You may also be carrying chronic anxiety, navigating the emotional toll of chronic illness, grieving a loss, or going through a life transition that’s left you feeling ungrounded.
These patterns often come from early experiences—childhood wounds, relational trauma, or attachment injuries. When love or validation felt uncertain growing up, it can show up in adulthood as people-pleasing, low self-worth, and difficulty in relationships.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I help adults understand and gently shift these patterns.
Using a blend of inner child healing, somatic work, and practical tools, we’ll work to build self-worth, process grief, navigate anxiety and life transitions, set boundaries without guilt, and help you feel more grounded and confident in yourself.
Therapy with me is supportive, collaborative, and focused on lasting change. You don’t have to do this alone.
I'm so glad you're here. It's such a crucial step you've taken, and I honor you for placing your health at the top of your list today! I believe that we are innate experts of our experience, and also that an outside voice and companion can be critical during moments like you may find yourself in now. I believe that therapy is an opportunity to explore not just the areas that are hard for us, but also to expand into the areas that bring joy, light, support and growth. Thank you for considering me as an ally and co-collaborator!

I obtained my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Communication from Southern Connecticut University and Masters of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Saint Joseph. I have many years of experience working with individuals and families in inpatient, outpatient, and school mental health treatment. I specialize in anxiety, burnout, career difficulties, academic stress, self esteem & confidence challenges, relationship issues, and relational trauma.
My name is Neidy (like LADY with an N - pronounced Nay-D).
My approach combines a few different therapies, but at its core, it is practical, collaborative, and focused on your goals.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. This means we will look at how your current thought patterns might be keeping you stuck, while actively focusing on what you want your future to look like and the strengths you already have to get there.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where ti turn next. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD/ADD, or stressful life changes, you don't have to go through it alone. My role is to help you feel heard, supported, and equipped with tools to create the life you want. As a mom of two, I understand firsthand the challenges of balancing personal, family, and professional responsibilities. My perspective as both a parent and a clinician helps me connect deeply with my clients as they navigate life's transitions. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Central Florida and have over a decade of experience as a social worker in school and community-based settings. This background enriches my current work as a therapist, allowing me to blend clinical expertise with real-world understanding.
My name is Mary Vaughan and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for the state of Florida. I have been in the mental health business for 35+ years. I love my work and that is the reason have stayed in it as long as I have. I am a military brat and I have moved around in Europe and many states.
Before I begin to work with a client, I tell them some of my background. It is my opinion the client should know something about his/her counselor before we begin our work.
I have had very successful results working with people who suffer from some kind of abuse ( either in childhood or as a young adult.) If abuse has occurred at most any age, the individual may come to me and tell me that they are experincing stress, depression, anxiety and/or panic attacks.
Before beginning counseling, I inform the client that we will have a questioning and answer process. This allows the client and me to get to know each other a little better. Based on the information I gather about my client, we discuss what the client wants from their sessions. The individual and I work together as a team. In this process, the client gains a sense of self-esteem and a sense of control over their lives going forward in the future.
Finding the right "fit" of counselor and client is key to a successful experience for the client. After the counselor gives the client some unique coping skills, the counselor asks the client if these skills might work for them. These coping skills are "Fluid" and can be modified and changed as we proceed in the counseling process.
