Hello there, my name is Ozanne. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I know many of you are dealing with depression, anxiety, and many life stressors from being pulled from so many directions from life demanding schedules. Some of you would like to go back to the peace of mind you once had and even make it better, and some of you would like to begin having peace and a sense of comfort you have never experienced before. Help is on the way!! Whether you are struggling with personal, work, and health issues, I can support you through those difficult times and get you back to the balance you so much desired by utilizing any one of the approaches to psychotherapy that fits your needs the best. I know seeking mental health help is not easy, but you are not alone. This is the best decision you could have made four yourself; and your first step on your way to overcoming the issues in your life that are weighing you down. You will be provided a safe environment where you can share your thoughts and struggles. You deserve to feel peaceful, whole, and enjoy life stability. Let's do this together!
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
A few of my biggest strengths is the love for helping others and believe that every of us has the potential to either improve, change, or start anew. I am easy to talk to and will listen without judgement.
Ozanne Knoop offers therapy covered by UnitedHealthcare/Optum - Medicaid in Florida.
I use CBT to help my clients problem-solve and find solutions to their problems by using strategies they learn in sessions to replace unproductive thoughts and worries. My clients learn to define a problem, generating options for addressing it, evaluating the pros and cons of each option, and implement an action plan.
I use DBT to help my clients to examine their lives and their behaviors and help them learn to change the aspects of their lives that they intend to change including their unhelpful behaviors.
Mindfulness interventions I use with my clients include yoga, meditation, deep breathing exercises, relaxation, and walking which help them to become more consciously aware of their mind, and therefore become equipped to reframe negative thoughts into positive, neutral, and realistic ones.
I use Emotionally Focused Therapy to help couples in rekindling their physical and emotional bonds and get back to a state of normalcy.
I use Grief Therapy to help my clients move through their grief moving one stage to the other although not always in the same pattern.
