About me

Hi, I’m Nicole, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over two decades of experience helping children and families. I became a therapist because I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to be heard, understood, and supported through life’s challenges. I work with children and adults experiencing anxiety, navigating big life changes, or healing from trauma. My approach is warm, collaborative and I tailor each session to your unique needs. I’m passionate about helping people build resilience, find clarity, and create meaningful change in their lives. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Florida Atlantic University, and my own journey as a trauma survivor has deeply shaped both my understanding and my approach to therapy. I bring empathy, warmth, and a nonjudgmental presence to every session, because I know firsthand how powerful it can be to feel truly heard and supported. My goal is to help you move beyond simply surviving to genuinely thriving. I use evidence-based techniques—including mindfulness, CBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-focused interventions, and person-centered therapy—tailored to your unique needs and goals.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Clients can expect a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where they feel truly heard and supported. Together, we’ll work on developing practical tools for managing stress, emotions, and relationships, while also exploring the deeper patterns that may be influencing current challenges. My goal is to help clients gain clarity, build resilience, and create lasting changes that support their overall well-being. Over time, clients often walk away with greater self-awareness, stronger coping skills, and a deeper sense of connection to themselves and others.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients who work with me often say they feel truly heard and supported. I focus on creating a nonjudgmental, compassionate space where you can be yourself and explore your challenges at your own pace. Because I use evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs, our work together is practical, collaborative, and designed to help you make meaningful progress. If you’re looking for a therapist who will listen deeply, provide guidance when needed, and walk alongside you as you navigate change, I would be honored to support you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I look forward to collaborating with clients who are open, committed to the process, and receptive to feedback with a positive, transparent mindset I believe therapy should adapt to your unique needs—not the other way around. Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s holding you back, build on your strengths, and learn practical tools to move forward. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected in your life.
