New clients continue care with this provider

I am a licensed mental health counselor dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with confidence and compassion. My goal is to support you in finding balance, improving emotional well-being, and building the tools you need to thrive. Together, we’ll work toward making your life easier, and more fulfilling. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and understood.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session with me, the focus will be on building a genuine connection and making sure you feel comfortable, safe, and heard. We'll take the time to get to know each other, talk about what brings you in, and begin to explore what you’d like to get out of therapy. When you're ready, we’ll start identifying goals and setting the direction for our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a provider lie in my compassion, empathy, and genuine care for the people I work with. I take a person-centered approach, meeting you where you are and supporting you without judgment. I'm here to offer guidance, encouragement, and practical tools—always with the goal of helping in whatever way I can to support your growth and healing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to serve individuals who are seeking support across a wide range of life challenges—from managing everyday stress and relationship issues to healing from past trauma, anxiety, and depression. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply in need of someone to talk to, I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your experiences and work toward meaningful change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) both in training and in clinical practice, primarily with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and stress-related conditions. My use of CBT is rooted in its evidence-based framework, which emphasizes the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT’s structured and goal-oriented approach allows me to measure progress and adjust treatment plans based on client feedback and observed outcomes.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I have extensive experience using person-centered therapy, a compassionate and non-directive approach that places you at the center of the healing process. In my practice, I focus on creating a supportive environment built on empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard, allowing you to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. This approach helps empower you to better understand yourself, build self-trust, and make meaningful, lasting changes.

Psychoeducation

I regularly incorporate psychoeducation into my clinical practice as a foundational component of treatment. My experience with this method spans a variety of settings, including individual therapy, group work, and family sessions. I use psychoeducation to help clients and their support systems better understand the nature of mental health conditions, treatment options, and the rationale behind specific therapeutic interventions.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness-based approaches into my practice as both a stand-alone intervention and a complementary method alongside other therapies such as CBT. In practice, I introduce mindfulness techniques gradually, often starting with breath-focused awareness, grounding exercises, or body scans. These practices help clients build distress tolerance, regulate their emotions, and disengage from automatic or reactive patterns of thinking.
