LCSW, 3 years of experience
I am a licensed therapist specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, and life stressors. I use evidence-based approaches like EMDR, CBT, and mindfulness to help clients navigate difficult experiences, reduce symptoms, and build lasting coping skills. My compassionate, client-centered approach creates a safe space for self-exploration, emotional healing, and personal growth, empowering clients to regain balance, resilience, and a greater sense of well-being.
In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding your goals for therapy. I’ll ask about your background, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve. Together, we’ll begin identifying strategies and approaches that may be helpful, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and get a sense of how we’ll work together. The session is a safe, supportive space to start exploring your needs and setting the foundation for your healing and growth.
My greatest strengths include empathy, active listening, and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients. I am skilled at building strong therapeutic relationships, helping clients feel understood and supported. Additionally, I bring patience, adaptability, and a collaborative approach, empowering clients to explore challenges, develop coping skills, and achieve meaningful growth.
I am best positioned to work with adults who are ready to explore and address challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or life stressors. My ideal clients are motivated to understand themselves more deeply, develop practical coping strategies, and make meaningful changes in their lives. I work with individuals who are open to self-reflection, growth, and building resilience to move forward with greater confidence and well-being.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and use it to help clients process traumatic and distressing experiences. I adapt the protocol to each client’s needs while incorporating grounding and mindfulness techniques to ensure safety. EMDR has been effective in reducing symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression in my practice.
I have experience in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and incorporate it into my practice to help clients develop psychological flexibility. I use ACT techniques such as mindfulness, values clarification, and cognitive defusion to support clients in reducing struggle with difficult thoughts and emotions, while moving toward meaningful, values-based living.
I have experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and use it to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress. In practice, I integrate CBT techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and coping skills training to support clients in developing healthier perspectives and behaviors. This structured, goal-oriented approach has been effective in addressing anxiety, depression, and stress-related concerns.
I have experience using Person-Centered Therapy, an approach that emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness in the therapeutic relationship. In my practice, I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood, empowering them to explore their feelings, gain self-awareness, and make meaningful changes at their own pace. I focus on supporting clients’ personal growth and helping them tap into their own strengths and inner resources.
I have experience providing psychoeducation to help clients better understand their mental health, emotions, and behavioral patterns. In my practice, I use psychoeducation to normalize experiences, clarify treatment approaches, and equip clients with practical tools and coping strategies. This approach empowers clients to make informed decisions, increase self-awareness, and actively participate in their healing and personal growth.

I have hope, and I truly believe that this lady is going to help me, as long as I do my part. She is easy to talk to, I feel safe and that's not easy for me.
