As a therapist, I am committed to guiding you toward meaningful change and lasting healing by creating a space where you feel seen, supported, and understood. I serve adult clients with a broad range of life experiences and challenges, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, mental health issues during pregnancy and postpartum, trauma, and substance use. I received my bachelor’s degree from Yale University and subsequently did research at the medical schools at Yale and Stanford. I continued my education at California State University in Sacramento where I completed a master’s degree in social work. After working as a therapist at a community health agency for the past decade, I recently started a private practice. My clients often come in wanting relief from distress as well as a deeper understanding of themselves and their patterns. I tailor my approach to honor each client’s unique experiences and strengths, and I draw from a range of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). My approach to therapy is both structured and supportive, helping you build practical skills, process difficult experiences, and deepen your self-awareness. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more balanced, resilient, and confident.

I received my Bachelors of Arts in Communications and Master’s of Science in Marriage Family Child Therapy from California State University, Fresno. I am also a semester from graduating with my second Master’s of Science degree in Psychology. Throughout college, I was able to represent Fresno State University as a member of the collegiate rodeo team. This was extremely special to me, as the Central Valley has been my home since the day I was born. I grew up in a small town called Lemoore, California on my family’s 100-acre cattle ranch, which was home to my family, my cousins, uncles, aunts, and grandmother and grandfather. I have been with my college sweetheart for six years now and have been married for a little over a year. With this said, I can relate to the complexity of family dynamics and interpersonal relationships, as well as the effect that they can have on our lives. My passion lies in supporting individuals because I believe that each individual has their own integral part of the human experience. Each individual is unique, bringing their own set of morals, beliefs, triggers, traumas, and more. In my role as a therapist, my objective is to assist every individual in crafting the best possible life path for themselves.

I began practicing as a therapist and psychologist in 2012 after graduating from the Higher School of Psychology in Moscow, Russia. Since then, I have had the privilege of working with diverse clients across different clinical settings and cultural environments. After relocating to the United States, I chose to continue my professional path as a Marriage and Family Therapist, bringing with me approximately 12 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through emotional, relational, and life-transition challenges. Before entering the mental health field, I spent more than 30 years working as a legal professional in consulting, corporate law, and finance. While these professions may seem quite different, both have deepened my understanding of people, relationships, decision-making, conflict, resilience, and the many ways life circumstances can shape our experiences. Working across different professional, family, organizational, and cultural systems has given me a broad perspective on the challenges people face and the strengths they draw upon to adapt, grow, and find meaning in their lives. Altogether, my professional experience spans nearly four decades across different countries, cultures, populations, and work environments. This diverse background enriches my work as a therapist and allows me to bring a thoughtful, practical, and culturally sensitive perspective to the therapeutic process. I understand that every person's story is unique, and I strive to create a space where clients feel respected, understood, and supported as they navigate life's challenges and opportunities for growth. Perhaps most importantly, I genuinely value the work I do. Being a mental health professional is more than a career for me—it is a source of purpose, meaning, and connection. I feel grateful for the opportunity to accompany people on their journey toward greater self-understanding, healing, and fulfillment, and I consider it a privilege to be entrusted with that process.

Hi! My name is Alex and I'm excited about the potential of working with you in developing a sense of integration and resilience in your life. Are you feeling stuck? Dissatisfied in your relationships and/or work? Disconnected from a sense of deeper purpose? Feel that there is the potential for greater richness and joy in life, but it is just out of reach? Rooted in a compassionate curiosity, our work would explore these themes through inquiry into the dynamic between your conscious, unconscious, somatic, and relational self. Using a holistic lens we can unpack the how's and why's of your patterns; gaining insight into your emotions and experiences, and work towards greater self-awareness and well-being. From a somatic, psychodynamic approach we will focus on the connection between the body and the mind, and how emotions and past experiences can be stored in the body and affect an your mental and physical well-being. Through the use of techniques such as mindfulness, breathwork, and body-based exercises, you will become more aware of your physical sensations and how they are connected to your thoughts and emotions. This may also include exploring early childhood experiences, family dynamics, and past traumas, as well as working through issues related to relationships, self-esteem, and personal growth.

Are you struggling with something that happened? Maybe you’re having a hard time after a car accident, medical procedure, assault, natural disaster, or witnessing something shocking. Or maybe what happened doesn’t seem “big” enough to call trauma, but you know it changed something in you. Some experiences are what we call “big T” traumas. But there are also “little t” traumas. Being neglected or made to feel invisible, being made fun of, getting yelled at, or losing a pet can leave a lasting mark too. An experience doesn’t have to seem “big” to everyone else. What matters is how it affected you. I’m a trauma therapist who uses EMDR and other therapies to help people work through overwhelming experiences and feel more like themselves again. I also work with healthcare workers who have experienced disturbing or traumatic situations in the course of their jobs. You may be carrying something you saw, heard, or had to do that is difficult to talk about with people who haven’t been there. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and teenagers as well. This is a time of life when everything can feel big, and having a place where you don’t have to minimize what you’re feeling can make a real difference. Therapy with me is active and collaborative. We’ll work together to understand what is keeping you stuck and find ways to help you. If you’re motivated and short on time, I can also give you practical tools and knowledge you can use between sessions to support yourself through a difficult space. I’m probably a good fit if you’re ready to work on the impact of something overwhelming and want a therapist who will take your experience seriously, even if other people might not understand why it affected you so deeply.

All things are interconnected. To feel better, you have to act better. To feel better, you have to think better. To think better, you have to feel better. To act better, you have to think better. To think, feel, and act better, you have to care for your physical health. To care for your physical health, you have to think, feel, and act better. Each has a corresponding effect on the other. However, the aspect of ourselves that we have the most direct control of is what we do, our acting. While we can influence other people, we cannot control other people. A great source of conflict and unhappiness results from our efforts to control others. If you want better relationships, the only thing we can control is what we do, how we choose to relate. We are responsible for what we do. Others are responsible for what they do. Accepting this fundamental reality and thinking, feeling, and acting in accordance with it is how we increase our experience of power, freedom, belonging, meaning and, very importantly, fun. My professional experience includes over 30 years of post-Master’s clinical work, including leadership experience in foster care, chemical abuse and addiction, inpatient and outpatient mental health services, and crisis intervention, de-escalation, and hospitalization. I am experienced in working with ages three through the elderly. I have worked extensively with youth and families, diverse populations and life issues, providing services in various settings, including family homes, schools, juvenile detention facilities, jails, outpatient clinics, and inpatient psychiatric facilities.

Do you overthink, replay conversations, revisit past decisions, predict problems, spiral, or get stuck in patterns that create conflict or keep you avoiding what needs to be addressed? You are thoughtful, observant, and more capable than you may currently feel. But the same mind that notices details, thinks ahead, and considers different possibilities can go into overdrive. You may feel on edge much of the time, dwell on the past, get irritated by small things, feel flat, or disconnect from things you once enjoyed. You may be going through this on your own or in a relationship with someone dealing with some of the same things. You may avoid difficult conversations, put off issues, or end up in the same conflict. Shame, fear of rejection, or trouble communicating can make it difficult to say what you really think or need. We can work on skills to communicate better, explore the expectations you bring to relationships, and recognize roles and patterns you keep replaying. Those roles may have served you long ago, but they may need revision now. I am Ramy Danon, a USC-trained Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 20 years of experience. Therapy with me is a real conversation. I listen carefully, ask questions, and tell you honestly what I see. I work with men, women, and couples, and I adapt the work to what is really bothering you and what you actually want to address. I also taught university and college students for 19 years. I love helping people recognize their abilities and expand what they believe is possible. I understand how difficult it can be to trust someone, especially if you struggle to ask for help. Getting started may be the hardest part. I am eager to learn about what is bothering you.

Hi, I'm Ms. Noemi and I am a bilingual (English & Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from Southern California. I've been in practice since 2003. At this time, I have a small private practice. I am currently serving children, teens, and adults. I specialize in Early Intervention, Children, and Family therapy. I provide solution-focused individual counseling to adults dealing with life changes, transitions, anxiety, and boundary challenges. I graduated from Cal State University Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services in 2003. In 2005, I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California (USC). Then in 2017, I earned my PPSC with an emphasis on Child Welfare and Attendance from Cal State Long Beach (CSULB). My clinical experience was in county mental health. I specialized in the treatment of children and their families. I provided individual, group, and parenting services to high-risk communities. I used a combination of talk therapy and evidence-based treatment models to best address their mental health issues, all while collaborating with adjunct programs. I provided Mental Health Related Services (MHRS) to students receiving counseling as part of their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). I have 10 yrs experience working for a foster adoption agency. I contributed to promoting safety, family reunification, adoption, and supportive parenting. My love and passion is to help individuals strengthening their relationships, healing, and reaching their mental health goals. Life is hard, challenging, and sometimes just overwhelming. I would love to be a tool that you can use to help you throughout your mental health journey. NOTE: Current openings: Wed- Fridays 10:00am-3 pm.

*I only work with individuals, no couples, no minors (under 18)* Trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, I am available to help clients navigate trauma, anxiety, relational issues, communication skills, depression, and stress management . As a first generation Eritrean American born and raised in the Bay Area, I struggled with a sense of belonging throughout my adolescence, often straddling the line between multiple identities and insecurities surrounding the idea of not being “American enough" and not being “African enough.” Early on in college, I took a psychology class that helped me further understand the human condition and its applications in my own life. I learned transformative concepts in terms of moods, relationships, and behaviors, prompting me to further pursue the field of psychology. Since then, I have taken it upon myself to get advanced training in various therapeutic approaches, which I believe help clients get the most out of their therapy experience.
