New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adult individuals seeking deeper, more meaningful change. I support clients in understanding the patterns that keep them feeling stuck—whether in their emotions, relationships, or sense of self—and help them move toward a more grounded and connected way of living. My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on creating a safe space for you to slow down and truly understand yourself.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll take time to understand what’s bringing you in and what has been feeling difficult or overwhelming. I’ll gently guide you through sharing your current concerns, relevant history, and what you hope to get out of therapy. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and you won’t be expected to share anything before you’re ready. By the end of the session, we’ll begin to make sense of your patterns and discuss a direction for our work together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength is helping clients move beyond insight into meaningful, lasting change. I support individuals in understanding the patterns that keep them feeling stuck, while also guiding them to process the deeper emotional experiences that shape those patterns. Clients often share that they feel deeply understood in our work, while also being gently supported to move forward in a way that feels real and sustainable.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with adult individuals who may appear high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected on the inside. Many of my clients notice repeating patterns in their relationships or inner dialogue and are ready to understand themselves on a deeper level. I support those who are open to slowing down, exploring the roots of their experiences, and creating more secure, grounded ways of relating to themselves and others.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I have completed formal training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) through an externship and integrate this approach as a core framework in my work with individuals and couples. I utilize EFT to help clients identify and understand negative interaction cycles, access and process underlying emotions, and foster more secure attachment patterns. My approach emphasizes creating safety, deepening emotional awareness, and facilitating meaningful shifts in how clients experience themselves and their relationships.
EMDR
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and integrate it into my work to support clients in processing trauma and distressing life experiences. I use EMDR to help clients reduce the emotional intensity of past events, shift unhelpful core beliefs, and build more adaptive, resilient ways of relating to themselves and others. My approach is trauma-informed, paced, and tailored to each client’s readiness and goals. In combination with Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), this approach supports both trauma resolution and improved relational functioning.
Attachment-based
My work is grounded in an attachment-based approach, helping clients understand how early relationships and past experiences shape their current patterns in connection, emotion, and self-perception. I support clients in identifying these patterns, deepening emotional awareness, and developing more secure ways of relating to themselves and others. This approach creates a foundation of safety and understanding, allowing for more meaningful and lasting change.
Trauma Informed Care
I practice from a trauma-informed perspective, recognizing the impact of past experiences on emotional, relational, and nervous system functioning. My approach emphasizes safety, pacing, and collaboration, ensuring that clients feel supported and not overwhelmed in the process. I help clients build awareness, strengthen emotional regulation, and gently process difficult experiences in a way that promotes healing and resilience.
