I'm a CA and OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life transitions, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, and substance use concerns. I am a LPCC based in California, offering bilingual therapy in English and Spanish. With over ten years of experience, I provide culturally responsive, evidence informed care to adults and parents. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, identity development, and major life transitions, including relationship changes, loss, and shifts in family, work, or personal roles. Many of the individuals I work with feel disconnected from themselves, stuck in familiar relational patterns, or uncertain about how to move forward after a separation or significant life change.
My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. As a Latinx immigrant, I bring a deep understanding of cultural identity and the complexities of navigating multiple cultural contexts into my work. I also draw from my lived experience as a parent to a nonbinary adult, which informs my commitment to gender-affirming and inclusive care. My approach is collaborative and empathetic, focused on helping clients reconnect with themselves, find emotional steadiness, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

Hello, my name is Derek Nunn and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California. My approach to our collaboration is a solution-focused therapeutic approach revolving around you being the expert with your desired outcomes and my use of specific questions to help identify and amplify strengths, skills, and resources moving you in the direction of your preferred future. Each session is driven by you as we will address your best hopes for each conversation to encourage a respectful collaboration between the two of us. We will also explore increasing psychological flexibility utilizing skills from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have worked with diverse populations in varying settings and programs such as schools, community mental health programs, crisis intervention team programs, and outpatient settings providing individual and group services to clients ages 8-75 both face-to-face and on telehealth platforms. Currently, I have availability to work with individuals ages 18 and older through telehealth only.
After working in the fire service for 14 years and recognizing the need to bridge the gap between public safety and mental health services, I transitioned into the mental health field in 2014 and discovered passion for helping people of various ages and health needs. Therapeutically, I have gravitated towards solution-focused therapy blended with acceptance and commitment therapeutic work, mainly because of the drive I have to maintain hope for others, ingrained in me from my fire service career.
If you are looking for court mandated counseling, seeking letters for emotional support animals, work disability, custody, or other court related services, I do not provide those services, and refer individuals to other providers having those services as their specialties. I am looking forward to working with you to build solutions towards your preferred future.

Hi there, I’m Douglas.
When anxiety, uncertainty, or burnout take over, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and unsure of your next step. It doesn’t have to stay that way.
I work primarily with LGBTQ+ adults or/and those with ADHD who appear confident on the outside but feel anxious, scattered, or self-critical underneath. Many are high-achieving professionals experiencing rumination, identity stress, or relationship challenges while trying to meet strong internal and external expectations.
As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, and ADHD Clinical Services Provider, I bring both structure and depth to our work. Together, we’ll identify patterns that keep you stuck, regulate emotional reactivity, and build practical systems that support clarity and follow-through. Therapy with me blends insight with action—so change feels steady, grounded, and sustainable.
If you’re ready to feel more centered, confident, and aligned in your life and relationships, I’d be honored to support you.

I am trained, experienced and skilled in a variety of modalities aside from talk therapy. We will attune to methods that will be effective and gentle. On this platform I work with Adults and Parents through telehealth. Clients often, utilize other means of expression such as expressive arts, meditation , grounding, spirituality, writing, journaling and photo therapy technique. So often clients , have other ways of expression which I identify to possibly try out.
I currently only have space for in person client on Tuesday at my office located in San Francisco's Inner Sunset, I have some availability for telehealth Mon, Wed, and Friday.

While depression and anxiety may be reasonable responses to your life experiences and the state of the world, that doesn't mean you have to suffer alone. You deserve support. I strive to create an environment where you can safely lean into difficult feelings and process your past and present without shame or judgment. We will work collaboratively to unpack the impact of systems, relationships, and intersectional identities (i.e. women of color, immigrant background, cultural stress) on your well-being. Together, we’ll explore healing as an act of empowerment and transformation.
As a provider, my greatest strengths lie in my deep empathy, active listening, and a commitment to mindful curiosity. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where your unique story can be truly heard and valued. Rather than simply diagnosing a problem, I listen for the 'hidden' stories of your strengths and values that often get overshadowed. My approach to active listening is about more than just understanding; it’s about standing alongside you to deconstruct the challenges you face and uncover the skills you already possess. Together, we will collaborate to rewrite the narratives that no longer serve you, fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and the reclamation of your personal agency.

As a first-generation Latina, I learned ambition, tenacity, and determination from my parents. My educational journey includes dual bachelor’s degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences and Psychology, as well as a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. I’m currently on the path to becoming a licensed psychologist. Before entering the mental health field, I worked as a nurse and briefly attended medical school in Southern California. Hi my name is Michael and I am very excited to be a part of your Therapy journey! I have a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and I have worked in several treatment facilities including a Nonprofit Women and family health center, an Addiction treatment facility, and a Digital health center for children and families. I will do everything in my power to help you find what you need and begin to heal and grow.
Hi there! I'm glad you're here. My approach is one of curiosity and collaboration. You are not in this alone. A little about me: For the past 20 years, I have had the privilege and honor to work with people of all ages who have so many different amazing stories and experiences. I look forward to having an initial meeting and learning more about you. Everyone is welcome.
Welcome to my profile. I hope it will help you find a therapist who is a good fit for you.
My name is Jon. I have 28 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned my MA in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Holistic Studies in 2002 and have been a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2009.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a dishwasher, forklift driver, small business manager, and completed an internship with the United Nations. I have lived and worked overseas and across the United States, collaborating with people from many different backgrounds. Like many, I have faced cancer and other significant life challenges.
I went back to college later in life because I wanted to help young people and their families build better futures. I chose a holistic approach because I believe in working with the whole person — mind, body, feelings, relationships, history, and spirit.
I spent 15 years supporting youth experiencing significant emotional and behavioral challenges and their families. I also worked with adults in community settings. For the last 13 years, my primary work has been with incarcerated adults. These experiences have taught me about shame, redemption, resilience, and dignity. I have witnessed people at their lowest points and seen their remarkable capacity to change, heal, and rebuild.
All of this has convinced me that people are always more than the labels they carry or the worst things they have experienced. I believe every person is worthy of being heard and treated with dignity and respect — and that change, growth, and transformation are possible for everyone.
My therapeutic style is warm and compassionate, as well as active and engaged. I continue to be inspired by the strength and resilience of my clients. Through a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship, we will work together to promote insight into your current struggles, process your thoughts and emotions, and help you heal from past experiences.
I value being authentic with my clients. It’s important to me that you are able to sense that what I’m saying is truly how I feel. I want to know all of you. This means not only hearing about what brought you into my office, but also about the aspects of your life that bring you joy. Humor frequently appears in my sessions. The work in therapy can be challenging, but I believe it’s also important to be able to laugh with my clients, too.
I hold a doctoral degree from the clinical Psy.D. program at William James College, a Master’s of Education degree in Human Sexuality from Widener University, as well as a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University. I have received training and supervision from specialists in addiction treatment. I also have significant experience working with women from diverse cultural backgrounds who identify as members of the LGBTQ community.
With 16 years in healthcare as a clinician and leader, I help healthcare professionals, physicians, and leaders in high-stakes roles work through burnout, compassion fatigue, trauma, and identity shifts. I offer virtual, telehealth therapy across California, using ACT, CBT, CPT, and mindfulness woven in. My approach is direct, warm, and grounded.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 37 years of behavioral health experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress, grief, caregiving responsibilities, and major life transitions.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, respected, and supported while also gaining tools to make meaningful changes in your life. Together, we will identify your strengths, explore patterns that may be contributing to current challenges, and develop strategies to help you move forward with greater confidence and resilience.
I work with adults from diverse backgrounds and strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where growth and healing can occur.

I work with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relational difficulties, and I meet clients with warmth, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to their healing.
My path to this work is personal. My own journey through struggle, recovery, and transformation has profoundly shaped the therapist I am today. I bring lived understanding of what it means to face hard things and do the inner work, and that experience informs the depth of compassion and authenticity I bring to every client I have the privilege of working with.
I am also a certified yoga teacher with training in trauma-informed yoga, and I weave somatic awareness into my clinical work, honoring the deep connection between mind, body, and healing.
Above all, I believe that people are capable of profound growth and change. I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel safe enough to be fully themselves, and I am deeply committed to creating that space for every person I work with. It is an honor to walk alongside clients in that process, and I bring my whole self to that work every single day.
While I specialize in OCD, I am taking on clients with life transitions, self esteem, generalized anxiety issues and relationship issues now. Please message me with any questions.

We all want to be heard when something is bothering us. Having someone hear us when we are upset can mean a lot. It can also feel good to have someone to vent to when a day has been long. I am interested in helping you through life's struggles and setting goals for the future. I'm also here to guide and support you through difficult experiences. I am here to listen because sometimes you may need to share when life changes or need help processing what has happened. I want to be there for you even when the day is neither good or bad. I am here.
Many people experience anxiety, depression, and many other emotional struggles. Often people feel there is no one they can trust and no one who can understand them. The impact of this emotional suffering can make daily life painful. It can put strain on relationships with family, friends, and peers. I specialize in working with people on an individual basis and have found that there are similar challenges that we all face while trying to navigate through our daily lives.
Life is a continual process of establishing and reestablishing various identities for ourselves, and sometimes that gets messy or confusing. Sometimes the ways we think and behave become incongruent with what we want and value. Sometimes we have a hard time knowing what we want and value. Sometimes external events or unforeseen challenges disrupt what we envisioned for ourselves and the future. It can feel tricky to navigate issues of identity development, change, grief, loss, anxiety, decision-making, relationship stress, disillusionment, and life transitions alone. But that's what therapy is for.
Therapy with me is an opportunity for you to get to know and understand yourself on a level that you may not have experienced before. In a safe therapeutic relationship, we can begin to understand how historic and present experiences and relationships have shaped your sense of self and patterns of operating in the world. This insight empowers mindful change.
