Hello, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, based in California. I have been providing psychotherapy for 17 years. I help adults struggling with individual difficulties, career stress, family concerns, friendship issues, and academic distress. I have been providing psychotherapy for over 17 years, specializing in Trauma, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, and Adjustment Disorders, among many other concerns.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with introductions and then discuss the specific challenges you are facing. Our goal is to develop a healthy treatment plan that allows us to identify the steps needed to help manage psychological health more effectively.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

The areas I have the most strengths and successes are in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, anger and irritability, adjustment, occupational issues, and trauma. A major focus of my skills includes communication skills and relationship problem solving techniques, to help clarify, conceptualize, and articulate concerns.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with individuals, 18 years of age and older. My clients are eager to improve, and benefit from the tools taught in psychotherapy needed to make this goal a reality.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I incorporate Person Centered Therapies (facilitate actualizing toward growth and fulfillment), Psychodynamic Therapies (assessment of how and why we do what we do, and tie past events and subconscious constructs into present behaviors), while focusing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (identify and modify maladaptive thoughts, feelings, emotions and behaviors).
