LMFT, 11 years of experience
In my 11 years of practice, my heart has been touched by at least three thousand of individuals who have come to me with their stories of love, loss, trauma, and a deeper a need for understanding who he/she is. I love working with clients who are ready to be challenged and identify blind spots in their lives. Many of my clients are therapists themselves or work in the field of healing. We create an individualized therapeutic plan and strategy based on your comfort and pace. We move gradually but quickly to address what changes you want to implement in your life. Most sessions are active, rather than passive.
After the intake session (depending on if you're a private pay or insurance client), we jump in. I like to use time wisely, and therapy isn't everyone's cup of tea. Therefore, if you are shy or need help, we ease you in. The therapy space is your safe haven. You dictate, you control how we move forward.
We work hard, yet it's important to have fun in therapy. Getting to know who you really are is an awe-inspiring experience- why not enjoy discovering yourself? All people are unique and beautiful. There isn't a judgment from my end, so therapy becomes relatable. Our job is to help you be seen and to create a space that you feel safe. The therapeutic space becomes a place of safety for you; ultimately, it's a simulation of how you will learn to interact in the outside world. The more you heal here, the more you can heal with the people around you.
The work we do in this therapeutic space is strong and moving. Currently, I am taking clients who are committed to taking on this challenge, want to have fun and laugh along the way. I process from a Jungian analytical perspective, while using integrative styles, such as combining somatic body work with CBT, DBT for emotional regulation, and couples work. If you don't like feeling your emotions, this work will be challenging. If you've had to suppress your emotions, want to work on your avoidance, have more secure/better relationships, then you might be the perfect candidate.

We conceptualize and process through a Jungian lens for case conceptualization, mostly healing from an inner child perspective. From there, we allow you to process what you're experiencing, hold space, and challenge your core beliefs. By the end of the session, you feel more grounded, at peace, and confident in yourself.
After having worked in a DBT lab, we have created an integrative mindfulness step that has helped hundreds of clients in self-soothing as they process their unmanageable emotions.
