I support individuals navigating through life transitions, aid in deepening self-awareness, develop healthier patterns, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. I work with clients to explore how past experiences, particularly from childhood, continue to shape thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Together, we gently uncover and make sense of suppressed or unprocessed experiences, gaining insight into how early experiences influence present-day challenges and coping patterns. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, and patterns of avoidance or coping that no longer serve them. I also work with clients seeking to reduce or change substance use when it has become a way of managing unresolved experiences. I have extensive experience supporting individuals with complex trauma, including childhood neglect, attachment wounds, and foster care experiences. My trauma-informed, psychodynamic approach integrates insight-oriented exploration with CBT to enhance self-understanding, emotional regulation, and lasting, meaningful change. I am currently accepting private-pay clients at $200 per session. My practice is full at the moment, but I am happy to add you to my waiting list. Having worked with clients who have experienced complex trauma, I’ve seen firsthand how insight can transform one’s sense of self and overall quality of life. My approach is insight-oriented and psychodynamic, helping clients uncover and make their own connections between past experiences and present challenges. I guide clients in developing lasting tools and coping strategies they can continue to use beyond therapy. My work focuses on helping clients deepen self-awareness, regain a sense of agency, and make intentional, confident choices in their own lives.

Psychodynamic

I have worked extensively with clients using psychodynamic approaches, focusing on exploring the unconscious processes that influence thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My experience includes helping clients uncover patterns rooted in early relationships, past experiences, and internal conflicts that may be contributing to current difficulties such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or self-esteem issues. I integrate reflective listening, interpretation, and exploration of defenses, allowing clients to gain insight into their internal world and interpersonal dynamics.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Perhaps an individual is seeking therapy for a safe space, where they know they will receive unconditional positive regard and process any life events they may be experiencing and therefore, seeking a neutral therapist to help guide them through that adjustment in their life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Having self awareness of how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors are all interconnected is an excellent long term tool to obtain and utilize outside of therapy and not feel the need to rely on and wait until your next therapy session.

I have over 6 years of experience in the mental health field providing trauma informed care. Additionally, I am Trauma Focused Certified to also provide the option of a more structured therapy format if preferred and ready to process an adverse event or traumatic moment in your life.
