Hi and welcome. My name is Tammy. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) based in California. I received my Masters from California State Fullerton and have been practicing for the last 12 years. I help clients who are struggling in different areas of their lives become a better version of themselves. I have additional training in DBT and CBT.
Hello! My name is Gloria Rojas and I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience in the mental health field. Outside of private practice, I work as a Director of Mental Health for a community-based mental health agency. I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Master’s in Social Work and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Social Work and Child Welfare and Attendance. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe space to process, heal and rebuild.
My services can be provided to clients with the following concerns: anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, behavioral issues, ADHD, loss/grief, acute stress, adjustment to life transitions, women's issues, parenting, relationship difficulties, generational trauma, and cultural issues. All services can be provided in English and Spanish.
I was inspired to become a therapist because I truly love helping others and feel a great privilege to be trusted with assisting someone on their journey to healing. I am driven to do this work every day because I have been blessed with experiencing the power of mental health services in my own family of origin. Additionally, as a professional and mother, I hope to serve as an example to others of overcoming obstacles, social pressures, and cultural dynamics to have a balance and thrive in all areas of life.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), in Southern California. I have 8 years experience in working with adults and families. My therapeutic style includes an unwavering commitment to working together in pursuit of your mental well-being. My communication style is personable, relaxed and encouraging. My goal is to create a safe space to process your thoughts without judgement.
I am an affirmative therapist and am LGBTQIA+ allied (I myself identify as gender queer and pansexual), BLM allied, Indigenous/native allied, API allied, Latinx allied, Disability allied, Deaf allied, Vegan allied (I myself am Vegan), and polyamory allied. I specialize in serving patients suffering suicide loss at any stage of the loss. I also specialize in attachment/family systems informed individual care and CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia). I also hold particular interest and experience in serving adults with ASD, ID or DD, adult children of narcissists, those who have suffered brainwashing and those who have suffered paranormal trauma.
I have years of experience in serving patients with a multitude of mental health and relational difficulties. I consider my orientation as a therapist to be first and foremost client-centered and strength-based. Although I utilize various therapeutic approaches, I chiefly consider myself to be a narrative/Rogerian therapist. This means that I work to help my patients take back the power and control over their own stories and assist them by co-authoring a narrative that truly witnesses and respects their traumas, tragedies, injustices, achievements, triumphs, milestones, strengths, and resiliency. I do this while holding empathy, congruency and unconditional positive regard as my three major tenants in the therapeutic alliance.
I specialize in therapy for: adult individuals suffering depression, anxiety, interpersonal/relational difficulties, traumatic grief, suicide loss, relational and attachment traumas, victims of psychological torture/emotional abuse/brainwashing, adult children of narcissists, sufferers of paranormal traumas, military and first-responder trauma, vegans, LGBTQIA+, adults with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability (ID), Developmental disabilities (DD), people struggling with life stressors, and those struggling with identity.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 16 years of experience. One of my main focus has been trauma and infant mental health, providing dyadic treatment to families. I am a trauma informed clinician with an attachment based lens. My formal schooling was Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Structural Family Therapy. However, throughout my early years I have found a deeper connection as a therapist to Attachment Therapy. I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Motivational Interviewing (MI), these are all evidence based treatments.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I graduated from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and furthered my education at Antioch University Los Angeles, where I obtained a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I’ve had the privilege of working with different demographics in a range of therapeutic environments. I’ve worked with teens in the high school setting, with individuals struggling with substance abuse and eating disorders, as well as patients with depression, anxiety, low self esteem, trauma, toxic relationships, and co-dependency.
I generally combine the use of both humanistic and client-centered psychotherapy in my work. With that said, I tailor my services to each client and their clinical needs. While accompanying my clients on their journey of change and growth, I provide them with unconditional compassion and acceptance. My goal is to cultivate an authentic human connection with my clients by creating a safe and comfortable space to explore, promoting growth, and facilitating change.
Hello, I'm Samantha a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy to adolescents and adults throughout California and Oregon. I specialize in supporting clients who are managing stress, navigating life transitions, and coping with anxiety.
Life can feel overwhelming at times—whether you’re adjusting to a new role, facing uncertainty, or dealing with persistent worry. You don’t have to navigate it alone. I offer a supportive space where you can slow down, reflect, and begin to make sense of what you’re experiencing.
My approach is client-centered and collaborative. I believe therapy works best as a partnership—one where your voice is valued and your experiences are respected. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you and identify practical, realistic tools that align with your lifestyle and personal goals. Because no two individuals experience stress or anxiety in the same way, I tailor each session to meet your unique needs.
I strive to create a safe, welcoming environment where you can show up as your authentic self. My goal is to help you gain clarity, strengthen coping skills, and build the confidence needed to move forward with intention. Therapy isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about creating space to grow, heal, and take meaningful steps toward the life you want.
Considering counseling is a big step and takes courage. I want to offer you that safe space for you to share in a caring and understanding environment. I can help you through your challenging journey to overcome your angst. My name is Myrna Vargas-Evert and I an LCSW. My experience ranges from working with adults in empowering them to overcome the burden of Anxiety and Depression. I have also worked with children and families providing communication, parenting, and relaxation skills, CBT and Strength Based approaches. My specialty is grief, gerontology, and TBI (traumatic brain injury).
I also work with the Gerontology (older adult) population in Home Health & Hospice and persons who experienced a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) through a specialized return to Home & Community Program by providing education and support to the patients and their families so that they can have a more meaningful life.
Hi there, I'm Elena!
Hi! I'm here to help you have the life you want, as sometimes life becomes challenging, and adjusting to life changes isn't always easy. I am glad that you prioritize your needs by coming here for help. I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I began therapy practice during my MA Program at JFKU in CA. For over 10 years, I've worked in various settings, including not-for-profit mental health agencies and private practice. I believe that treatment is a collaborative approach. I look forward to taking the journey of healing with you. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back.
I am a caring and empathetic therapist with thirty years of experience working in county mental health. You may feel weighted down by depression, grieving a significant loss, or struggling to adjust to a major life change. Perhaps you feel exhausted, unmotivated, disconnected from others or unsure of how to move forward. You may also experience significant changes in your mood that make it difficult to feel stable or like yourself. I provide warm, compassionate therapy for adults experiencing depression, grief, life transitions, anxiety and other mood related concerns. Together we will work to understand what you are experiencing, strengthen your ability to cope and identify realistic steps towards feeling more stable, connected and hopeful.
Many of the clients I work with are carrying a lot. They may look like they're functioning on the outside—working, parenting, caregiving, and showing up for others—while internally feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California with 10 years of experience supporting individuals through life's challenges and transitions. I work primarily with adults navigating relationship stress, communication difficulties, grief in its many forms, burnout, identity development, and the emotional weight of trying to "hold it all together." Many of my clients are asking themselves questions like: Who am I outside of survival mode? How do I show up as my best self? How do I communicate my needs more clearly and create healthier relationships?
My goal is to provide a supportive space where clients can better understand themselves, build practical tools for navigating life's challenges, and create meaningful, sustainable changes that align with the person they want to be.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with teens, adults, couples, and families navigating emotional and relational challenges. I specialize in neurodiversity, burnout, perfectionism, anxiety, depression, life transitions, attachment, and family dynamics. I enjoy supporting clients who have spent years feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or disconnected from themselves. With teens, I help navigate identity development, self-esteem, friendships, social skills, emotional regulation, and the challenges of finding their place in the world. With couples and families, I support communication, understanding each other’s needs, navigating conflict, and strengthening connection. I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those exploring their identity and making sense of their experiences in a way that feels affirming and empowering. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative space where clients can better understand themselves, their relationships, and what they need to thrive.
Hello, I'm Dr. Scheherazade Pheng, a licensed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with more than 20 years of experience helping adults across California. My work has been at the intersection of mental health, the criminal justice system, and the families whose lives are deeply affected by it.
One of the things that matters most to me is making quality mental health care accessible. I welcome clients with a variety of insurance plans because I believe the support you receive should never depend on the insurance card you carry.
Throughout my career, I have learned two important truths. When one person enters the criminal justice system, an entire family is impacted. Parents, spouses, grandparents, and children often carry overwhelming stress, grief, fear, and uncertainty while trying to keep moving forward. I have also seen that many communities near California's prisons and detention facilities have limited access to mental health care, despite having a tremendous need for support.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger, shame, or the emotional challenges of loving someone who is incarcerated, you will find a compassionate and judgment-free space in my practice. Together, we'll work toward healing, greater clarity, and renewed hope. You deserve support just as much as the people you care about, and I'm here to help when you're ready. Dr. Pheng is also the author of The Other Side of the Wall: A Healing Guide for Families of Incarcerated Loved Ones, available at thriveinstitutefbh.com.
Hello, I'm glad you are here. You have a ton of therapists to sort through in your search for support! There is no one way, humans have unique needs. Here's how I can help...
Do you feel easily triggered by people or events in your everyday life? Are you struggling to understand the root of intense emotions that emerge as a result? Ever wonder why you relate to people the way that you do? Is there a relationship in your life causing you discomfort? Would you like to know more about your inner world?
My name is Regina Walsvig, CA Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). I received my M.S. in Counseling and a B.S. in Child & Adolescent Development--both from California State University, Fullerton. I see all ages using individual, couple, family, or group psychotherapy.
I feel fortunate to be involved in conversations with people that generate their curiosity, depth of emotion, relief, and processing of uncharted territory. This therapeutic relationship offers new experiences that truly have the ability to harness one’s inner strength. I appreciate so much that therapy is a place that requires absolute authenticity from everyone involved— just you, as you are. No more, no less.

I specialize in treating LGBTQ+, polyamorous, and kinky folx, navigating everything from trauma to depression and anxiety, often intersecting with questions of identity and relationships. I value walking with clients as they understand more about who they are and how they relate to the world around them.
Together, we’ll create a grounded and supportive space to explore identity related to gender, sexuality, race, and neurodiversity, uncover patterns that may no longer serve you, and move toward a life that feels more aligned, connected, and whole.
Whether this is your first time exploring therapy or you're looking for a new perspective, I’m glad you’re here!
Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing in California, Texas, and Florida. I graduated from University of Southern California and have been working in mental health for the past 11 years. I enjoy working with people in all phases of their lives to maximize their well-being and potential in their personal and professional lives.
I have specialized training in military culture and concerns and am well-versed in the systems, challenges, and rewards experienced by our active-duty service members, veterans, and their families.
Hi, I’m Norma Elia Luna, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the therapist behind Sol de Luna Therapy. I provide warm, collaborative, trauma-informed therapy that integrates attachment-focused and somatic perspectives. I believe the patterns we struggle with often make more sense when we understand what they have been trying to protect us from. In our work, we may explore how past experiences, relationships, emotions, and nervous system responses continue to shape the way you experience yourself and the people around you today. My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms, but to help you understand yourself more deeply, reconnect with your own needs and strengths, and develop new ways of responding that feel more aligned with the life and relationships you want.

Hi there! I’m a therapist originally from Virginia, with deep passion for the LGBTQ+ and African American communities. My heart and practice has also been shaped by seven vibrant years in San Francisco. My approach is creative, compassionate, and affirming. I believe healing happens when we feel truly seen, and I strive to create a space where you can show up as your full self. Outside of therapy, I’m deeply inspired by music (of all genres), art, and all things creative. I bring that same spirit into my work, helping clients tap into their own resilience, insight, and expression.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in practice in the Inland Empire area since 2014. I believe real change is a gradual evolution (hence my practice name Gentle Evolutions), and there are often many stops along the way. I bring a lot of warmth and genuine curiosity to that process, while also keeping sessions rooted in your therapy goals. I acknowledge the vulnerability that comes with sharing your story and identity with others and aim to create a space where you feel able to share 100% of what is coming to your mind. I provide stability for clients through the difficult times and ensure that we also celebrate the small successes in the therapeutic space.
Sometimes, as adults, we discover that our ability to make decisions; to love someone; to accept the love of another; to feel peace and inner calm; to find the motivation to accomplish goals; to forgive a betrayal; and to experience self-acceptance and confidence can feel limited, creating distress and discomfort. Thus begins the journey of an examined life. When you explore how you operate, what influences your choices, and what has contributed to your experiences, you begin the process of enriching your internal resources. This expansion of resources broadens your choices and options in life and holds the potential for higher functioning and greater happiness.
As a therapist, I provide a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment. I am easy to talk to, interactive, respectfully direct, and mindful of diverse cultures, backgrounds, and sexual orientations. I work collaboratively with my clients to set goals and utilize each individual’s strengths and resources, supporting the discovery of an authentic self that experiences life in a richer and more satisfying way.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Life Coach who specializes in working with adults navigating dating, relationships, and family dynamics. I also support clients in healing from childhood trauma and working through family relationships, as well as managing anxiety and depression, with the goal of helping them feel relief from symptoms and experience more happiness and balance in their lives. My work is focused on helping you show up more authentically and securely in your relationships, with others and with yourself.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families find clarity, healing, and hope in the midst of life’s challenges. My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. I believe therapy should feel like a safe, welcoming space where you can show up as your full, authentic self. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based approaches, faith-based counseling, and couples therapy.
I bring years of experience supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, major life transitions, and moments of feeling “stuck.” My work is deeply informed by my background in social work, my commitment to equitable wellness systems, and my belief that people thrive when they feel seen, supported, and empowered.
In every session, my goal is to help you better understand your story, identify what’s getting in the way of your peace, and develop tools to move toward the life you want. I approach therapy with genuine empathy, a bit of humor when it fits, and a strong belief that healing is possible for everyone.

Above all, I value the therapeutic relationship, built on a foundation of trust and non-judgment.

I believe every individual has unique strengths, and I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel understood and empowered. I work with individuals using compassionate, evidence-based approaches that focus on building meaningful skills, increasing independence, and celebrating progress every step of the way. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), helping clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building practical coping skills. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, or difficulties with emotion regulation. I’m a therapist who primarily works with men dealing with relationship struggles, trauma, and anxiety that’s started to affect work, family, and daily life. I’ve worked in a men’s trauma center as well as in private practice, so I’m very comfortable sitting with the heavier stuff that most guys have learned to keep to themselves. My style is direct, non‑judgmental, and very relational, think real conversation, honest feedback, and a focus on what actually helps you feel and live better, not just “talking about your feelings” for an hour.
You want to change your feelings, thoughts, or behaviors, but every time you try, it blows up in your face. (Not literally...hopefully.) How do you get unstuck?! The most important factor is the relationship with your therapist. My main focus is teaming up with you - not telling you what to do - in figuring out how to help you create new patterns.
My practice mostly revolves around increasing your awareness of what’s happening in your mind and your body – and above all, respecting your experience. My approach focuses on mindfulness, DBT, and post-traumatic growth. This takes work, but with the help of someone you trust, you absolutely can change the structure of your brain!
As much as I may be in the most privileged of demographics (see photo), I’ve taken a lifetime’s worth of feeling inferior and deployed it for good: Being able to empathize with you, the client. I've worked extensively with anger, grief, substance use, LGBTQ+-related issues, insomnia, racial identity, relationship issues, sports performance, etc.
I have an easygoing way of communicating with clients. My communication style definitely doesn't have that solemn, overly serious tone that you might see depicted in movie therapists. Just to forewarn: My sessions can and will include some (very lame) jokes here and there, but that does not mean I don't take your struggle seriously.
If you're considering therapy, chances are you're carrying something that feels heavy, and you're looking for someone who can help you make sense of it. Change requires courage, self-awareness, and a willingness to try something different - when people are motivated and can learn healthier, more adaptive ways of thinking/feeling, meaningful growth is possible. As a therapist, I am warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I strive to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, even when you're talking about the parts of your life that feel messy, painful, or difficult to understand. Clients often tell me they appreciate my sense of humor, my kindness, and my ability to challenge them in a way that feels supportive rather than confrontational. I believe therapy doesn't have to feel cold or clinical. Some of our work may be serious, but I also believe healing can happen in moments of connection, insight, and even laughter. My role is not to tell you what to do or who to be. Instead, I work alongside you to better understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical tools for change, and help you move toward the life you want to create. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, self-worth, or navigating a difficult season of life, I will meet you where you are and support you in taking the next step forward.

I offer a collaborative, trauma-informed space for adolescents (13+), adults, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, life transitions, or the lasting impact of difficult experiences.
As a Punjabi Marriage & Family Therapist, I understand how cultural expectations, family roles, and stigma can make it hard to ask for support. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, not judged, and where your values and lived experiences are honored. Together, we’ll build insight, strengthen coping tools, and help you feel more grounded and confident in your relationships and daily life.
You don’t have to be certain about everything to begin. Sometimes therapy simply starts with giving yourself permission to try. When you’re ready, I’m here to support you.

Are you tired of the non-stop chatter in your head judging every move you make? Is the constant loop of negative thinking making you feel like you are not good enough? No matter how many times you try to talk yourself out of this—you just can't seem to shake it. You are doing all the things you’ve been told to do and yet something is missing. You feel alone. You feel misunderstood. You feel anxious. You turn to food, alcohol, Netflix, or whatever else that can make these feelings go away. You promise yourself that next week will be different. You will start the new diet or the new program, you will commit to being a new you.
What if there is another way? I work with women to get this cycle can end. There can be freedom from the despair caused by believing that you are not good enough. You want a deeper connection in your relationships. You want more joy in your life. You want less stress and worry. I can help you get there. There is a different path.

My experience in community mental health for several years has allowed me to gain experience in working with a wide range of individuals. In working with children, adolescents, and adults I have learned how important it is to be caring, flexible, and nonjudgmental for my clients. I am passionate in helping my clients cope with life's challenges and reach their personal mental health goals. If you're dealing with stress, trauma, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. I do not see any clients under the age of 16.
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist based in California, and I work with clients statewide via telehealth. My therapeutic approach is integrative, multicultural focused, collaborative, and strength based. I like to meet people where they are at, utilizing evidence-based practices, and tailoring therapy to each individual with respect to their cultural backgrounds, and their intersecting identities that they bring into the therapeutic relationship. My goal is to help people make changes that allow them to live and function at their highest potential.
