Welcome! My name is Craig Harris. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) currently providing telehealth services. I currently work with adult individuals (all age ranges). I do not currently work with anyone under the age of 18, do not offer family or couples counseling. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental and supportive environment for you to find a path to a healthier, more fulfilling life. I am passionate about working with people to improve their lives. I am a huge believer that a good connection is the foundation of good therapy. I currently work at a Level 1 Trauma Center as an Emergency Department Crisis Social Worker. I am inspired every day to help patients and their families cope with traumatic injuries and mental health crises. I do have extensive experience in the areas of depression, anxiety, work stress, addiction & chronic pain. I have also worked in a variety of mental health settings (outpatient, community based, in-home services and residential treatment programs). I have worked with children, adults and families in a variety of settings for over 20 years. I combine understanding and empathy with a straight forward, strength-based and solution-focused approach. I am here to help you reach your goals and improve your relationships with your family, friends, co-workers, loved ones and most importantly yourself. I look forward to speaking with you.
I am trained in different evidence based practices (e.g. Strength-Based, Solution-Focused Techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness) to tailor my interventions for every person’s unique circumstances. I am a huge fan of Brene Brown and incorporate pertinent themes when trying to find solutions for many of our life's challenges. I will share Brene Brown's researched, proven techniques for learning how to become our authentic, true selves.
One of my personal struggles has involved over a decade of chronic pain. As a result, I have a first hand understanding of how this profoundly impacts our life, our mood, our anxiety and our relationships. Chronic pain is so much more than just physical suffering. I know chronic pain is real. I have lived it and I have found techniques and solutions that can improve your life.
Adults 18 to 64 experiencing anxiety, depression, struggling with various psychosocial stressors (including work stress and chronic pain, health issues).
