Hello and Seja bem-vindo! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I grew up in Brazil and moved to California to pursue my career as a therapist. I truly believe that due to life challenges, stressful jobs, career and busy lifestyle, it's very easy to dismiss our inner voice. That is the voice that wants to be heard, tell us about our emotions and hurdles. Allowing your inner voice to be heard will empower you to embrace the beautiful journey of self discovery.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Compassion and accepting, it is my goal to provide a space where a person can exhale and simply be who they are, vocalize their truth, and explore their inner world freely.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I aim to provide support, guidance and practical feedback to help clients effectively address life's challenges. It is my mission to provide the highest quality clinical services to promote the emotional and relational potential of all clients. I am committed to the core values of respect, responsiveness, innovation and quality to enhance the unique experience of each individual that I encounter.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT attempts to intervene by changing negative thought patterns, teaching relaxation skills, and changing behaviors that lead to the problem worsening.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT acknowledges the need for change in a context of acceptance of situations and recognizes the constant flux of feelings, many of them contradictory and without having to get caught up in them.

Grief Therapy

To help client begin a healthy grieving process around the loss( people, things and places). Develop an awareness of how the avoidance of grieving has affected life and begin the healing process, by resolving the loss and begin renewing old relationships and initiating new contacts with others.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a form of psychotherapy that combines mindfulness techniques, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and a values-based approach to promote psychological flexibility.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

A major premise of EFT is that emotion is fundamental to the construction of the self and is a key determinant of self-organization. At the most basic level of functioning, emotions are an adaptive form of information-processing and action readiness that orient people to their environment and promote their well-being.
