I’m April Quatrine, LPC, and I believe therapy begins with understanding yourself—not fixing yourself. I work primarily with adults navigating ADHD, autism, AuDHD, anxiety, trauma, and the challenges that can come with feeling different, overwhelmed, or misunderstood. With over 10 years of clinical experience, I’ve worked with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including those navigating serious mental illness and complex trauma. These experiences have shaped my approach to seeing the whole person rather than simply a diagnosis. I also bring lived experience to my work, which has deepened my appreciation for how much courage it can take to understand ourselves, challenge old beliefs, and begin doing things differently. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and neurodiversity-affirming. I use evidence-based approaches while remaining curious about what works for each individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all formula. Together, we’ll explore your patterns, strengths, needs, and goals while developing practical tools you can actually use in your everyday life. I especially enjoy working with adults who have spent years wondering, “Why is this so hard for me?” or feeling as though they need to be someone they’re not. Therapy with me is not about eliminating every difficult emotion or changing who you are. It’s about developing greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and confidence in working with what you’ve got.

As a therapist dually licensed in counseling and substance use treatment, I believe every person carries unique strengths, stories, and untapped potential. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your needs, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as CBT, EMDR, DBT, IFS, ACT, Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and practical life-skills development. I’m passionate about helping clients understand how early experiences and relationships shape the way they see themselves, navigate challenges, and connect with others—and I’m continually inspired by the powerful ways therapy, supported by neuroscience, can help the brain and body heal. Outside the therapy room, I find joy in traveling, lifelong learning, reading, and cherishing time with my friends and family. I’m also deeply connected to the mind–body relationship and believe that true healing honors both. And on any given day, you’ll likely hear me mention my love of animals—especially my beloved corgis—who remind me daily of the importance of presence, curiosity, and play.

Hi, I’m Bianca Chavez, a Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of Untamed Rose Therapy. I’ve been working in mental health for over 10 years with experience in community mental health, intensive outpatient therapy, and group practice. I became a therapist because I wanted to be the person I didn’t have growing up. Someone who would listen, ask questions, and help me make sense of what I was experiencing without making me feel like something was wrong with me. That experience is what first drew me to counseling, and it’s still a big part of why I love what I do. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationships, family and cultural expectations, parenting, and women’s issues. I provide virtual therapy throughout Arizona and offer sessions in both English and Spanish. If you’re more comfortable speaking Spanish, that’s absolutely welcome here. Si te sientes más cómodo/a hablando en español, también puedes hablar conmigo sobre tu vida y tus experiencias con respeto por tu cultura, tus valores y tu historia.

Hello, and congratulations on taking this step. Reaching out takes awareness, courage, and a real commitment to change — it requires to invite someone into your struggles. I've spent over 25 years working in behavioral health as a clinician, clinical supervisor, and clinical director. My career has taken me from a faith-based agency in New England to a community behavioral health center in northeastern Arizona, where I eventually led clinical services for 12 years, to providing counseling at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base — an experience that deepened my respect for military members and their families. I now own a private practice in Sahuarita, Arizona. My work focuses on helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. I also welcome working with military veterans, people of faith, and individuals and families facing serious illness. In the spring of 2025, I was diagnosed with cancer. I have since completed treatment and am now cancer free — and that experience gave me a much deeper appreciation for what it means to face something that reshapes your world. I don't see therapy as simply treating a diagnosis. I see it as working with you as a whole person — your strengths, fears, hopes, values, pain, and goals. I'll listen carefully, but I'll also be active: helping you identify patterns, understand difficult thoughts and emotions, build coping skills, and take meaningful steps forward. I won't claim to be the expert on your life. My role is to walk alongside you and help guide the change process at a pace that feels respectful and manageable. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, and ongoing life stress. I believe therapy should feel steady and purposeful — a place where you can speak honestly about what’s heavy while also making meaningful progress. My style is calm, grounded, and direct. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we explore both where those patterns began and how they’re affecting your relationships, work, and sense of self today. I integrate EMDR, CBT, and ACT to address the root of distress while also building practical skills for emotional regulation and clearer decision-making. I value depth, but I also value structure — therapy should not feel aimless. I tend to work well with people who hold a lot together for others yet quietly carry internal stress, self-doubt, or unresolved experiences. I believe you don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. When someone is ready to look beneath the surface, not just manage symptoms but understand and shift what’s underneath, that’s where meaningful change begins.

Hi, my name is Vienna Aslanian, and I have been practicing as a licensed therapist since the beginning of 2017. I chose to become a therapist after practicing in the field of social work with children and families. Witnessing the trauma and the way that trauma impacted those individual lives caused me to develop an interest in and concern for individuals struggling with PTSD and childhood trauma. Seeing the intergenerational struggles and hearing people's personal stories on the matter made me interested in the field of therapy. I have always enjoyed listening to people's stories and making a genuine connection with someone. I believe in the healing power of therapy and the importance of the therapeutic relationship. I believe in the importance of active listening and supportive guidance. I believe in the importance of empathy and nonjudgment; I value making you feel cared about and understood. I hold myself to high expectations regarding reliability and consistency in order to provide the best support and care possible. I attend training regularly on the best and most effective practices/therapeutic modalities.

DISCLAIMER: Please do not book me based off of reviews. Your experience with me is UNIQUE. Please book me if you are seeking an action-oriented therapist, have insight about your situation, some history with therapy, are seeking solution-focused steps, and are not seeking someone to solely affirm you. I am not the best therapist for newcomers as I ask a lot of questions, which can overwhelm you if you are not used to being questioned. Questioning is to understand you and get to the root of the problem, as well as the excuses used to perpetuate the problem. If you don't want to do the work, I am just an expensive "Friend". So please be sure that you understand my style before booking me ;-). I am warm, DIRECT, solution-focused, AUTHENTIC, mildly confrontational, 100% Raw/Real and guaranteed to make you laugh as I have often heard from clients that I am funny :-) I won't lie to you or co-sign lies you tell yourself. I will gently reflect what you are not saying and what you are not showing so that you can explore for yourself. The intention of services provided to present and future clients are to support them in navigating through the pain. The only way out is through. Not above, below, or around the pain but through it. The good news is you are not alone and don’t have to do it alone. Utilize the resources offered in this collaborative effort in creating the life (mind, body, & soul) you deserve.

You already have the tools and skills necessary to thrive in life, but these skills need to be identified and honed in order to be put to use and effective. My approach to psychotherapy is to focus on strengths and build resilience as we address problems of living. Life is hard and together we can be brave. My treatment approach is based in third wave behavioral therapies (mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy). My primary focus is holistic care, recognizing and treating the whole person. I have spent over 15 years working as a mental health provider in the medical setting, dealing with life and death situations that affect my patients and their families. This work has allowed me to be present for the full range of human experience and recognize the strengths that each individual possesses. I have a background in philosophy, which informs my perspective on the challenges that people face and ways to resolve problems. In addition i have specialized experience working with LGBTI+ individuals. I live in Phoenix and am a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in CA, AZ, and VA.

Frequently asked questions

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in Arizona. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Arizona from Tucson to Mesa! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Arizona.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
