About me

As a therapist, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. I approach therapy with empathy, insight, and collaboration. Helping you uncover patterns, strength and self awareness, and reconnect your sense of hope. Together we will identify meaningful goals and develop practical strategies that will empower you to heal, grow and live with greater clarity confidence and peace.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and then discuss the specific challenges you're facing.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a therapist is offering short term, effective therapy. My approach is compassionate, empathetic and direct. I create a space where clients feel genuinely understood while learning to see themselves more clearly. I believe therapy should be both healing and practical, so I focus on helping clients reach meaningful growth within 30- to 60- day goals. Together we work on building awareness, improving communication, and creating calm in the places that used to feel overwhelming.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am passionate about helping people untangle what's holding them back and finally feel safe being themselves. My work focuses on healing from negative self perception, dissociation, phobias, and the impact of controlling relationships. I offer a compassionate, down to earth space where you can build awareness, self trust, and emotional freedom. Together will move toward real healing and self discovery, one step at a time.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my experience, CBT is a powerful approach for addressing negative thought patterns and fostering healthier coping mechanisms. Its structured nature also makes it effective for setting and achieving short-term goals. Individuals can create meaningful changes in their emotional and behavioral responses by actively engaging with their thoughts and feelings.

Compassion Focused

Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) is a type of therapy that helps people build self-compassion and kindness towards themselves, especially when they’re feeling distressed or struggling. It teaches individuals to recognize and challenge harsh self-criticism, replacing it with a more nurturing and understanding approach. By developing a compassionate mindset, people can improve their emotional well-being, reduce feelings of shame or anxiety, and foster a greater sense of connection with themselves and others. Essentially, CFT encourages us to treat ourselves like we would treat a good friend in tough times.

Strength-Based

Strength-based is a type of therapy that emphasizes identifying and building on a person’s existing strengths and positive qualities rather than focusing solely on their problems or weaknesses. The idea is to help individuals recognize their skills, talents, and past successes, which can empower them to tackle challenges and improve their lives. By shifting the focus to what they do well, people can boost their confidence and motivation, making it easier to create positive change and achieve their goals. It’s all about harnessing what’s already good within us to overcome obstacles.
