Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session with me as your therapist, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we’ll get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any questions or concerns you may have about the process. I’ll ask some questions about your history and current situation to better understand your unique experiences and needs, but there’s no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with at this stage. Together, we’ll also discuss how therapy works, what approaches I use, and what you can expect moving forward. Most importantly, this first session is about creating a safe environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to begin your journey toward growth and healing.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the unique blend of evidence-based methods and genuine, empathetic connection. I draw from solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness practices to help you gain practical tools and deeper self-awareness, while also offering Christian counseling for those who desire faith-based support. Each session is designed to not only explore your thoughts and feelings but to move you toward change through tailored action steps, homework, or engaging activities that help you apply insights to everyday life. At the core of my work is a commitment to seeing and understanding your perspective with compassion and openness, creating a space where healing feels possible and progress feels tangible.
